gjblues, he launched into a tirade at myself and for once I hadn’t done anything to really draw him on me. It was very strange and unlike previous times, I’m in no hurry to call for him to be unbanned etc. I wouldn’t object if that’s what people wanted (of course) but I’m completely done with him. That was the point of no return for me personally.

Worst half performance from liverpool for a while. Some of the players look complacent and Southampton are certainly up for a game. Midfield needs to improve or someone will get replaced maybe Keita coming on.

The players do look complacent and the crowd were quiet for most of the first half, so I think maybe they were also a bit. It’s only natural for the fans to be but the players have got to be better than this. Now, in fairness they did find their voice as Southampton were piling on the pressure and I think the 2nd half will be an altogether different affair, from at least this perspective anyway.
We’re in danger of losing this game though if we don’t drastically improve.
