Except there isn’t really…. although there is room for some upsets…
After an unbelievably poor performance last time against the Seagulls, expecting a “revenge” win now that we should have all our players back and no injuries to key players… but Brighton is Brighton, they could cause an upset…
Villa vs YooUtd could be interesting… YooUtd really need to win to keep their aready slim hopes of Euro footy alive… and the Goonies vs Spammers could be fun for a neutral…

8th February 2024 at 2:31 pm #212537Interesting to see var has called 20 things wrong this season and 4 of them are againest liverpool, wolves 3.
There is well more then 20 if you include a lot of which we have commented on here for different teams.
All going well i be at anfield with my son and few mates sat. 60k attendance, biggest for a long time
Also, villa will fade. Defensively hopeless at the minute and utd will beat them

Love that Sean. Has he been before?
Villa game a potential tough one for us. Newcastle and now Chelsea have been and done them over recently but they’ve generally been excellent at home.
Spurs Brighton could be interesting. Brighton having a bit of a blip but I fancy them at Spurs actually.

8th February 2024 at 10:30 pm #212541Have a good one Sean. It’s good to get to a game whilst Klopp is still managing. I suspect tickets will now be harder to come by as the season dwindles down.

8th February 2024 at 10:59 pm #212542Yeah brilliant Sean that he’s getting chance to see a Klopp game, as Mikus says. Enjoy!

9th February 2024 at 11:38 am #212544Live the moment Sean. I’m trying to hopefully attend one game be it home and away but tickets are just hard in access so make the most.
Going for City to finally regain Top Spot, briefly and for us to reclaim it.
Need need a bounce-back and statement performance tomorrow afternoon. 3pm Kick Offs are a rare find.
Played on the Super Computer the other day and Top 3 will swap places. There’s going to be interesting twists and turns. I just hope naturally from an LFC POV, we don’t pick up any more injuries.

10th February 2024 at 9:16 am #212547Yeah, I’m with Ange; not sure about this idea of Blue Cards. But we do need respect brought back as it’s lost towards Referees. That should not have happened the other night re Kyle Walker. Haaland previously too confronting the Official.
We need discipline.

10th February 2024 at 9:56 am #212548Why can’t these “offences” just be enforced with a yellow, of which I belive many should be already??
Not sure about the sin-bin all together, I wonder how many “taking one for the team” incidents well result in injury….

10th February 2024 at 10:19 am #212549Chucks, unfortunately I’m sounding negative on this idea, but just think this idea will leave open to abuse. It’ll create unnecessarily disruption and spoil the flow of the game. That’s my biggest bugbear. Would VAR too get involved?
I imagine the trial will fall into the lower leagues to see how they fare. One thing that still hasn’t been clamped down is when players place their hands on their face when the injury is no where near!

10th February 2024 at 12:58 pm #2125522nd time this season I’ve seen that from a player pushing an attacking player out of the touchline.

10th February 2024 at 1:06 pm #212554Not a very exciting game. In fact so far dreadful. We’ve not got it together at all.

10th February 2024 at 1:11 pm #212555It’s been flat so far. Not sure whether playing Doku detracts Foden’s own use in which I think he’d be more dangerous. Everton don’t really have a great deal of threat other than Harrison and Calvert-Lewin.

10th February 2024 at 1:22 pm #212557Stinker of a first half. Midfield creativity lacking. We need KDB and Bernardo on to improve the midfield.
