26th January 2025 at 8:45 pm #2175792 Questions:
Do Fulham deserve to lose?
Do United deserve to win?
Fantasy Football maybe need to revise their rules as that deflection cost me 8 points!!!!! πΏ

26th January 2025 at 8:59 pm #217580Result……only 11 points to guarantee safety from the drop. Well done to the lads after relegation rival Leicester winning today.

26th January 2025 at 9:06 pm #217581Yeah not far to that magic 40 point mark CM. Every game a cup final from now on. Absolute bore of a game and lucky to get the 3 points.
Could Spurs go down? What do we reckon?

27th January 2025 at 6:58 am #217582Normally I’d say yes spurs could go down but I think this season there’s already a big enough gap to the bottom 4 who will fight it out. They are dropping like a stone but I think this season teams will relegate with low points totals which will help Spurs and indeed Utd too.
Hopefully next season for them both π

27th January 2025 at 7:14 am #217583I’d want to say “No”, for pretty much the same reasons as 3’ps mentions above, combined with the hopeful return of about 1 teams’s worth of players, but I can’t see us getting much past 40 points by seasons end, 45 max!
Better win a Cup or two… π

27th January 2025 at 7:52 am #217584Eth has really set utd back further with the absolute shite he signed and mad money he spent.
Does amiron need another half a billion to fix it ?

27th January 2025 at 9:37 am #217585Depends first up if Leicester now use yesterday as a springboard to put together a few wins and results. Everton could get sucked back in, but a really good result for them on Sat. Saints and Ipswich I believe for the drop.
United’s younger and more newer players showing team spirit and togetherness.
I don’t think Amorim will last too long there and yet again somebody else will come in. My guess is Southgate.
Awful at many a time to watch; it’s as if there’s a reliance on set-pieces.
Seems with Spurs, we also are going round in circles for years with Managers.

27th January 2025 at 10:31 am #217586Let’s not turn Liecester into some sort of world beaters who are going racing up the league, they won’t, they’ll still finish below us Spuds… their first goal was a bit of a lucky bounce that fell for Vardy (yes, the cut us open for the cross, but it could have gone anywhere) and the 2nd goal was one of those he’ll be lucky to score 3 of those a season and wouldn’t get 1 if our defenders were awake and doing their job… struggling to think of any other decent attempts/chances they created…
Liecester were shit, no doubt about it, but Spuds were even worse, they had the upper hand for about 5 minutes, in which they scored both goals… the other 85 minutes were Spuds doing their best impression of the Dog & Duck.

27th January 2025 at 10:47 am #217588Ah Chucks, didn’t see the game so I will trust your judgement π
Well, if Van the Man can get a tune out of these guys, but as mentioned, it’s at the point of lots of established players lost over a period of time and it makes me wonder what happened with the wealth the owners supposedly have? They can’t rely on Vardy all the time!!
You won’t need me to say the defeats at Spurs need arresting. Does Levy hold on to Ange? Big Big Week.

27th January 2025 at 10:54 am #217589Leicester lost 6 in a row before the weekend I think? Don’t think one good result will turn their season around. Its 3 from 4, utd, Everton and spurs will be safe. Which is a shame.
Cannot see Amorim lasting long he looks a man with troubles and regrets.

27th January 2025 at 11:12 am #217590Under any other circumstance, you would say Leicesters was a “smash & grab” type game… it was all one way traffic except it was women drivers doing all the driving…
We’ll stay up, once we get most of our players back we’ll get back into the more typical won one, lose one pattern we’ve had for about a season and a half now… should be enough for 40 points…
