Just switched off 5 live for a bit of a nap before the Ipswich game. Dion co-commentating and summarizing a key point in United’s habit of building up slowly. I’m sure I’ve mentioned this in discussions via different threads, but have they at all been any different to a few of their predecessors?
I always thought in terms of creativity, the flanks were the key cogs that would supplement the midfield that would then service the forwards.
1 goal down and again not in ascendancy!

19th January 2025 at 2:57 pm #217437He’s gotta go……
Can’t remember the last time Spurs were like this. 3-0 down at Goodison and Everton as it stands sit 4 points behind with a game in hand.

19th January 2025 at 7:46 pm #217444Fuck football.
WWE wrestling is now on Netflix. Now there is a real sport. None of these prima donna kebab pansies in the PL.
Enjoy the rest of the season gents. I am done with this shit. What a waste of time watching something you cannot enjoy.

19th January 2025 at 8:52 pm #217449Just a bit bizarre for Amorim to come out and state this team is maybe the worst in the history of the club. He clearly got a reaction out of them vs Liverpool & Arsenal. But now normal service is resumed. We obviously saw this yo-yo effect under Ten Hag. Granted the poor quality of the squad, I’ve always said the club needed a big personality at the club to manage it.

19th January 2025 at 9:36 pm #217451I see where you are coming from Mikus.
The so-called worse team in history would not draw to the league leaders at Anfield. Amad on Thursday Night.
Were they just flashes in the pan? As Amorim did Celebrate these results
Perhaps reflecting in the cold light of the day; he’s just brought his thoughts straight up into the open.
Or quite simply, realisation on the back of an emotional day; this is one of the World’s Biggest and Greatest of Clubs. Even the Presence of Sir Alex making Amorim realise his own Place and what he has been Presented with.

19th January 2025 at 9:47 pm #217453Understandably, we’re losing posters noticeably. No Alfie for ages, hope he is Well. Ed, ok, CM, but no other Man United fans besides that. Mav Bless Him still pops in now and then so that’s good. We’ve lost Man City fans and Chelsea too.
Hardly anybody left here 🙁

19th January 2025 at 10:19 pm #217454Social media has taken over forums Nil, unfortunately.
Prefer the old fashioned forums, but not many use them anymore. A colleague of mine use to post on a music forum, they have migrated everything across to Reddit and shut the whole forum down due to lack of activity and a reduction of users.

20th January 2025 at 7:59 pm #217463Don’t follow the Jammy Todgers on a regular basis, I have a brain afterall, but that 11 doesn’t look that impressive to me… how on earth are they as high in the table as they are? Can’t all be that Palmer fella, can it?

20th January 2025 at 8:57 pm #217465Lol, one thing noticeably noticeable is players leaving the back of their hair and cutting their sides only 😀 You’re seriously telling me that’s an 80s Chris Waddle Mullet?!
Chucks it was your Maddison that started this I’m sure months back and now I’m seeing Harvey Elliot! 🙂 🙂
