Haha, Son’s been a proper menace today. Just needs to lay one to his sparring partner π

5 point gap is maintained with the Gunners having a game in hand over City.

5th February 2023 at 6:29 pm #203851Yeah, bit fortunate, rode our luck a bit, maybe should have adda another one or two, but they could have too in the second half. Ref had a mare, though, very inconsistant.

5th February 2023 at 6:41 pm #203854Are City in a difficult situation now with Haaland where he’s undroppable because of his scoring record as well as arguably being the reason they’re underperformed as a team? It’s a very odd situation. Dropping him would seem crazy but it reminds me very much of us with Ronaldo last season and, going back further, when we had Ruud up front. He was a sublime goalscorer but the minute he left and we went with Rooney, Ronaldo and Tevez, we were so much more effective as a team.
I really don’t understand Pep though sometimes. He seems determined to do something a bit whacky in these big games sometimes as though his desire to be remembered as a genius, revolutionary tactician is greater than his desire for the win.
