Thatβs the thing nil. We have had amazing years. Watching some of the best football Iβve ever seen as a lfc fan. Winning big trophies and amazing nights. Scandalous if oriole turn on the manager and players without giving them full support and a chance to regroup in the summer and try and rectify things.
We do need to see some improvements or the vultures be out

5th February 2023 at 10:42 am #203763Bellingham is having his mind made up for him if the rumours are true that it’s a 2 way fight between Liverpool and Madrid. Wouldn’t at all surprise me if City nipped in and got him in the end. I’d like us to be in the race but I just don’t think we’ll go to the kind of fee needed to get him, especially with the takeover stuff hanging over us.

5th February 2023 at 10:50 am #203764Yeah, Sean, I’m thinking like that as well. We won every available Trophy. Some of the goals scored by players at such pace has been unbelievable. It takes a while sometimes to catch a breath and process it all. I’m going back as far as 2018, even 2017.
We’ve been in 3 Champions League Finals with Klopp, even a Europa Final. My only disappointment is not having another League Title in the bag. We should have had one of those at least when we finished on 96 and 97 points.
It’s one season, and there’s mass hysteria from others. We can regroup. We need super investment and 200 million at least to rebuild. Give Klopp the backing he needs. Right now we need team spirit and definitely a confidence and a morale boost.

5th February 2023 at 10:51 am #203765Never thought for one minute Bellingham would come to us Ed. Loads of rumours but coukd just never see it happening
We need 3 midfielders

5th February 2023 at 10:57 am #203767We’re laying all the eggs in one basket. Our recent history doesn’t speak too good when it comes to key players and injuries. How much would Bellingham cost us? Personally, I would invest in 2-3 good midfielders and effectively finished articles that won’t necessarily break the bank.

5th February 2023 at 10:59 am #203768Ruben Nevez definitely one of them replacing Ox and Keita.

5th February 2023 at 11:33 am #203770Casimero is worth an appeal surprised if they overturn it though.

5th February 2023 at 11:39 am #203772I suggested a few weeks ago that City are looking at Bellingham and that was from a decent source (not the tea lady!!).
There is of course a long way to go and things change.
I read an article just now based on a conversation with Abonglahor (spelling!!). It suggests that Klopp has lost the dressing room. I don’t believe that for an instance. What I do see is a person looking very very stressed.
A couple of good results and all will be forgotten.
The only thing I would say from commercial experience is that sometimes key employees do need a break. Klopp would benefit from a few weeks off to recharge. Who are Liverpool going to find better. I do think things will change when injured players return._____________________________

5th February 2023 at 11:48 am #203773Agbonlahor is stealing a living as a pundit. He just says things he thinks are a bit controversial to provoke a reaction. He was saying yesterday Casemiro should be arrested for the incident vs Palace π. Of course, not a word about Ayew

5th February 2023 at 12:02 pm #203774We’d all love a bit of consistancy for sure, as much as we all like a good roll over.
Don’t think an appeal would work either, he had his hands around the throat for what? 4 seconds? 5 seconds? They’re not going to overrule that, regardless of who else did what else.
Anyway, what wiff the flith, Pool, Jammy Dodgers and the Bone Saw Boyz all dropping points, us getting rolled-over by Money “The SlaveOwners” City (see, Adders, equal opportunity offender I am!) later today won’t fell quite as painful now.

5th February 2023 at 12:33 pm #203778Chucks, what do you do with your dilemma today mate; A Spurs win to help Arsenal or a defeat to help City π

5th February 2023 at 12:36 pm #203779Ed, yeah, seen bits of him on You Tube from what they’ve posted; not a fan of him or O’Hara; Stopped tuning in. It seems anybody can get into punditry these days.

5th February 2023 at 12:37 pm #203780Yeah I don’t think it will be overruled regardless Chucky. I’m also aware 100% consistency is just never going to happen. There’s no reason, though, why that whole incident couldn’t have been looked at as a whole rather than focusing purely on the Casemiro incident. That would have avoided the inconsistency of one incident being punished and another similar one being ignored.

5th February 2023 at 12:40 pm #203781My posisiton is clear, Nil, obviously I would love for my Cocks to roll-over that highly respected club because, overall, it would benifit my boys in their race for the Top4, as well as a small bonus for rolling over one of the “money-clubs” that are doing their best to ruin English football for some bullshit sports white-washing campaign… but losing to them and annoying the filth down the road won’t be as frustrating as a loss to a “money-club” under normal curcumstances normally is..
It’s basically a WIN/win/whatever week, I cannot lose!! π

5th February 2023 at 1:18 pm #203783I’m sure the Gunners will be hoping for a Spurs win deep-down. A City win and next weeks mid-week clash could be definitive.

5th February 2023 at 1:39 pm #203785Our record away to Spurs is appalling. Since they moved into the new stadium we haven’t even scored a goal. About time it changed. Son is our bogey man. He always seems to do well against us.
I’m hoping for a change today._____________________________

5th February 2023 at 2:35 pm #203790Far too much has been made about Slaveowner FC’s record at the Lane of recent years so, naturally, all good things come to an end… 3-1 to the Slaveowners with a late Harry Kane consolation so we can at least celebrate that little milestone along with mucking up the filths “title charge”…
As for Son, best check the team sheet before kick-off to at least see if he’s technically “on-the-field”, otherwise I doubt we’ll notice until he’s subbed off in the 74th minute… love the fella to bits, but he’s not exactly “on-it” this season!

5th February 2023 at 3:48 pm #203791Strange team selection for us. Walker at CB and KDB on the bench

5th February 2023 at 3:57 pm #203792I really only see Son rarely and particularly against us. He always seems to have the measure of our defence. We’ll soon see!
Given Spurs are unlikely to win the title what is the best result for supporters today. If I was a Spurs fan it would be a win and hope City beat Arsenal twice.

5th February 2023 at 3:57 pm #203793Not the scariest looking starting 11 from City… certainly seen worse… and possibly our strongest 11 (would have preferred Zorro over Royal, but I’m sure we’re going to him at some stage!).
Still sticking with my 3-1 prediction… much more hardware to come off their bench than ours!!
