Giblue, wolves have left out a good few attacking players like last week againest Liverpool
They will show no appetite to go forward and this will be a stroll for city
No costa, carvalhio or costa like againest us last week when we had a 2nd team out. They just sat bavk with 11 men behind the ball

14th January 2019 at 7:55 pm #31338Shame I like Wagner Huddersfield need Ethan Hawks to save them.
Wagner went to the Board and said he needed a break according to Sky and he probably did it looks like Mission Impossible.

14th January 2019 at 7:57 pm #31339Don’t blame Wolves tactics taking City on offensively could be fatal.

14th January 2019 at 8:21 pm #31341That’s buggered the rest of the game now.
Really early too. Damage limitation now, just about.

14th January 2019 at 9:48 pm #31344Threeps, The luck comment was more over the season than that game, weโve had a bit for a change this season (finally, Iโm certainly not complaining). I thought we got the rub of the green with a few 50/50 calls but not the pen, I thought that was a pen. If you read the whole post & just donโt pick what you want youโll actually see I said I thought we deserved to win.
I get you donโt like how I say c$ty will win it, just like I donโt like how some were going mad about our chances of winning the title half way through the season but save your personal dislikes for the TT pages mate, they fit in better over there._____________________________

14th January 2019 at 9:55 pm #31345Sending off ruined the game!
Bit of poetic justice based on the away game at Wolves.
Not too much else to say._____________________________

14th January 2019 at 9:57 pm #31346One of the best games I’ve seen tonight – smooth watch because of the way Wolves played and their application was professional throughout in spite of the early sending off.
Unfortunate, but it warranted a red. It’s the old clichรฉ` but I believe it could have been a more different game – they just never give up.
Back to where we were with the 4 point gap – De Bryne is looking very dangerous and no doubt, loads more to be unleashed.

15th January 2019 at 4:42 am #31355AnonymousA good weekend for Liverpool. We’ve been asked the question of how we are going to handle the pressure of leading, just after losing to City. We could have buckled but even though the score was 1-0, it was very comfortable.
We have Palace on Saturday where we get the chance to tell City that we’re keeping the gap to 4 or more. If we are worthy of the title, we’ll win this match. I’m sure the team won’t take it for granted. I’m getting used to a really good group attitude towards our very clear objective. “GET THE NEXT 3 POINTS”. This is all we need to care about from here on.

15th January 2019 at 4:44 am #31356AnonymousI will add that I was really pleased with Fabinho’s performance at the back for us. I got pretty wasted that day so I have no specifics in mind but our defence doesn’t falter even with 3 injuries. Not bad!
Fabinho was a great signing.

15th January 2019 at 5:27 am #31357Oz, no need to have a go at me with that attitude, I simply asked where do you think we were lucky against Brighton. Like, do you think it was the penalty? But if you want to be an arse then I’ll know not to ask you again.

15th January 2019 at 8:19 am #31362AnonymousMav, fully agree re Jose it was time for him and his tactics to go and OGS has brought the smile and better football back.
I still maintain you need 5/6 top quality players to take you to a level playing field with say City and Liverpool. As I said to Ed I’m not peeing on your party, and fully agree you had the best of the 1st half and could have gone in a couple of goals to the good .But in the 2nd half and not bigging Spurs up as that’s not me we could have scored 6/7 goals and should have scored 2/3 if not for DDG and his 12 foot legs.
In the cold light of day you won and got the 3 points but I disagree that you have the current players to go anywhere bar City and Liverpool and expect to win …………………….. only time will tell mate._____________________________

15th January 2019 at 8:37 am #31363I hear Trump made a compromise with the democrats. They’ll place De Gea along the Mexican border instead of that wall of his.

15th January 2019 at 9:21 am #31365Mak @ 4:42, essentially all true.
In relation to that too, I can’t ever recall anybody saying “we’re going to win” win holding a 10 point lead – it’d be the wrong attitude altogether to do so at this stage of the season.
