12th January 2019 at 1:12 pm #31221Sean, I don’t think Liverpool will mess up this season they are a much more solid team than the Rodgers team but a 4 point lead is a narrow lead to defend if City do get into their stride as it’s beginning to look like they might and if the lead remains a narrow lead going into the run in it will be very very nervy and that will be testing for a Liverpool team that haven’t been n that position before.
United away following the Bayern game looks potentially your toughest upcoming fixture if United continue in their current vein of form and Palace at home could potentially be a frustrating game as Palace on their day can frustrate anyone. But there aren’t too many obvious tricky games to come maybe Spurs at home.
Speaking from experience you’ve just got to sit back and keep everything crossed. And you only enjoy a title win after its all over.
Tbh if someone gave me £100 and said stick that on who you think will win the title I wouldn’t know who to put it on. But as it stands Liverpool are in control of their own destiny which is still the best place to be. Cheers 999

12th January 2019 at 1:14 pm #31222I’ve been impressed with Fabinho of late but he’s not a Centre back. Needs must though.

12th January 2019 at 1:18 pm #31223Anyone been watching the West Ham game?
They’re showing resilience so far against the gunners and Nasri actually has been effective but they’ve not made the most of their chances in front of goal and should really be testing the keeper.⚽️

12th January 2019 at 1:21 pm #31224Nine you’re right mate, but injuries to those will take a while to heal and its this or throwing in a kid.
Personally mate I’m cool with the senior players able to temporarily fill in and provide support and stability.?⚽️

12th January 2019 at 1:29 pm #31225Nil, Fabinho can do a job at Centre Back against Brighton for sure.
As I said it’s needs must and Liverpool have to play him there they have no choice and I’m sure he will cope with the Brighton attack but he’s not a Centre Back and if he has to play there for too long a period it might eventually catch Liverpool out.
Shame about Gomez he’s looked a very good player this season alongside Van Dijk.

12th January 2019 at 1:42 pm #31226Nasri can still play.
I always liked him as a player. Top class on his day. Calm control passing to Rice. Arsenal defence asleep!_____________________________

12th January 2019 at 1:48 pm #31227Nasri is top player – wonder if Liverpool missed a trick not signing him even as a squad member.
Rice has had a very good game. Arsenal really haven’t penetrated West Ham enough and have paid the price.

12th January 2019 at 1:58 pm #31228I like the David Luiz lookalike. He gets better each time I see him. Still young I think.

12th January 2019 at 3:48 pm #31237Not really much to shout about re first half. Brighton basically have brought a Bus but credit to them in being able to stand their ground and get bodies behind. It’s made our job so far more difficult and no surprise, Henderson in majority passes sideways or backwards.
I hope he gets taken off.
Gotta remain patient. A draw wouldn’t be bad and at least our away travels would be out of the away, but can’t really afford to give City that opportunity to close the gap further.

12th January 2019 at 4:21 pm #31240Liverpool are in total control and frankly Brighton not in it. It will only take on decent attack from Liverpool and that will be it. I reckon 2 or 3 nil for Liverpool at the end. Brighton just dont look like they can score. Stream I am watching not the best!
Penalty….What can I say
0-1
Roll on VAR. It will help avoid doubt and…..
