Half an hour of the Jammy Todgers (hopefully Nepolean will make an appearance, Wednesday night, the sheep are all in for Winter, what’s else has he got on his plate?) before the 2nd best game of the week, best put the kettle on…

14th January 2025 at 7:44 pm #217316Buffy, all joking aside, what do you think of Legohead these days? The football, to say the least, is a lot more pragmatic than it used to be, nearer George Graham and Whinger…
Oh, nice goal by the Palmer fella… he’s a baller for sure…

14th January 2025 at 9:01 pm #217318Quite simply, we should have done to them what they have done to us. It was a well-taken goal and I applaud Forest. No Keeper is saving that.
We could have played cat-n-mouse and not necessarily throw all our eggs in one basket only to be punished by pace on the counter.

14th January 2025 at 9:05 pm #217319Forest remind me a lot of the Liecester team that one the title, keep it very tight and busy in mid-field, break on the counter with pace…

14th January 2025 at 9:58 pm #217320Gotta be satisfied with that above all. A draw against a Team on the back of 6 wins. Has to be one the best PL Matches this season.
Really proud of Liverpool’s second half performance; proper Title winning material. Forest Definitely a should for Top 3/4.

14th January 2025 at 10:20 pm #217322Proper title winning material is not taking 60 mins to get going nil mate
Fairplay to forest. Took us far to long to get going.
Soft goal, shit first half, chasing game etc. going on years now.

14th January 2025 at 10:46 pm #217323Sean, I think we should have started with Jota in the first place if we were to take the game at Forest. He’s the cutting edge and the dimension needed to execute properly our style of play.
I’m upbeat mate that we didn’t lose the game and that they didn’t do the double on us. Lost 1 all season so far and one of the toughest opponents so can’t be that bad considering we were losing.
Yeah, quite chuffed with that. Gives us a springboard for Brentford this Sat, but they themselves clawed back a 2 goal deficit against Man City (what has happened to them?!).

15th January 2025 at 6:40 am #217330A draw away to the 3rd placed team on the best winning run in their history and the leagues most in form team wouldn’t be a draw away to the 3rd placed team on the best winning run in their history and the leagues most in form team without Sean being negative.
I think supporters expectations have been distorted by the 95+ points tallies of City and Liverpool recently. This year it will likely be sub 90 points that wins the title and that is tradionally the norm. We are still in a fantastic position and it will take Arsenal or Forest to go on crazy winning streaks to catch us which I cannot see happening. City, despite some lfc fans still shitting themselves over, are fighting for a top 4 place only.
It wasn’t a great performance again, I think Slot needs to look at dropping Robertson and MacAllister, their positive influence is negligible of late. If Jota is trusted to remain fit he should start ahead of Diaz, who I also prefer Gakpo to on the left.

15th January 2025 at 7:30 am #217331Forest are well beatable threeps. Er ate going for the league here yet not tirning up for games and having to chsse them mate. 4 draws from 7. We had enough chances 2nd half , my negative post is that we didnt get going yet again for 60 minutes. Im sure arnie accesses teams before games yet we continue to play bad until he has a word at half tine
We keep missing opportunities to pull away.
Totally agree about robbo. I hope your right. arsenak win tonight and they are 4 points behind and our game in hand is againest everton.
Agreed good position but it should be better but we didnβt perform v utd and were shocking last night for 60 minutes. Poor v spurs aswell. Its concerning how we are playing now. Its an absolutely massive opportunity we have with how city are playing. The only team who can stop us winning this is ourselves if we keep conceding soft goals and having to chase games.
If we dont stop conceding soft silly goals, starting games slowly and having to chase games then wr will throw this away
Arsenal are badly missing saka. He be back soon. They have two home games now. We have brentford, bouremouth and everton away by feb 12th. Lets see were we are after the next 4 games when we finish at everyon aeay.

15th January 2025 at 7:36 am #217334Slso threeos, i apologies for the negativity. Its just that bad feeling of what we have experienced before. losing big leads etc. I understand its not city chasing us and im thinking we need to win every game like you had to when challenging city
Its just the beat opportunity we will get for s while i think. We cant fuck this up

15th January 2025 at 7:43 am #217335Nancy I think he has taken us as far as he can go and needs to be moved on now.
Itβs criminal we donβt have a better squad for the money spent
He has reset the club in many ways if the recruitment had been better we would have won more I think
Iβd be happy with a fresh start come summer but wonβt happen
As Maureen would say heβs a bit of a specialist at failing π

15th January 2025 at 8:21 am #217338Sean, if it was the City juggernaut of recent seasons 3 or 4 points behind us I could understand thr concerns.
It’s arsenal who seem to have their own problems especially up front and towards their manager, and are currently matching our ‘poor form’.
It’s Forest who with no disrespect are finding themselves way higher than their squad warrants, and good on them, I just cannot see them maintain it.
It’s Chelsea and City who are in worse form than us and too far back now bar an absolute miracle on their behalf and a collapse on ours.
There will be blips and I fully believe the winner will not break 90 points, but that is what normally happens. But what will be will be, I am enjoying the ride and not worrying about what might happen if the absolute worst does.

15th January 2025 at 9:02 am #217341Reckon we’ll be keeping Angie until the summer, minimum, and wouldn’t be at all surprised he stays for next season too, if we manage to somehow qualify for Europe…
We’ve got some great youngsters and the nucleus of a great team (if we manage to keep them all, Vicky, the new goalie, Micky, Grey, Destiny, Sarr, Bergval, Johnson and few others all haven’t even learned to shave yet out on loan), just need one or two more “mature” quality players and a manger who plays a bit more in between Angie and Conte…
Would not be at all surprised to see Angie stay for the 18 months left on his contract and Poncho come back after the next WC in the US… would not be upset with that at all.
With regards to the comments above, I do think it will a lower points total than usual (compared with the last 4/5 years at any rate), and I think that’s better for the League… and I don’t agree with those who think the “quality” has dropped… I think it’s more to do with a lot of “mid-table” teams suddenly getting that extra 10%… everybody is cancelling each other out to a degree, taking points of each other.

15th January 2025 at 9:47 am #217342Yup fully agree with your last paragraph chucky. Overall the PL is very strong this season just without the absolute outstanding team at the top like the previous few.
