I don’t think the game would hinge on one decision, but maybe that could have allowed Saints to level, and perhaps a different team talk at half-time.
Would say though that City are more or less out of sight and one more goal would make certain of that.

Paxton, at first glance it was a pen, but with the benefit of replay not sure. If we take Salah’s recently given two, I’d say it was more a pen than the Newcastle one and less than the Arsenal one. Only one of those was a penalty in my eyes.

Job done. In patches, back to our best and on another day could have had 3/4 more. Managed the game well in the second half.
Sterling MoM imo – excellent going forward and did his bit defensively. Danilo did well too. Good to see Sergio back on the score sheet.
Southampton did their best to add to our injury list.
Big one on Thursday – not necessarily on must win, more a must not lose.

Unfortunately, I do agree with Sean here. Really no need for so many negative comments about Utd and Liverpool. You never pipe up when Utd have a decision against us. And literally nobody is getting carried away by these wins. I fully expect Spurs to turn us over in a couple of weeks. I genuinely don’t know why you’re caring so much about us when we’re in no way a threat to City
