Ed, If United move for Allegri over Poch that would be somewhat understandable imo and their choice I’m sure Poch will be on the short list but if United can get Allegri you can understand why they might favour Allegri over Poch probably over Zidane too.

United are one of the biggest Club’s in World football and will be attractive to most top Managers perhaps understandably Poch remains 7/4 favourite with the bookmakers followed by Solskjaer and Zidane at 4/1 and Allegri remains a 14/1 outsider.

Eddy… well, the Liverpool fans will tell you contact was made, which it was, but I personally think Salah realized he had run out of room and was unlikely to score (he was on the byline with the goalie marking the post) so he slowed down to allow the defender the run into him and the moment he felt contact, rather than try and stay on his feet, he had a sudden reoccurrence of that broken spine he got against Newcastle… and as we know now, these days in football, that counts as a foul… a slightly stronger “claim” than last week, but in Banjo’s world, that was yet another tart move by a tart footballer…

Arsenal are a top 4 side offensively but a mid table side defensively. As I said a few days ago Arsenal wouldn’t be able to handle Liverpool offensively and so it’s proved comfortable win and Klopp can rest a few in the second half with the City game in mind.

If Liverpool win at the Etihad it’s game over for the title even if they draw it will be difficult for City. I just can’t see Liverpool losing many games. 9 points ahead of Spurs and 10 points ahead of City surely it has to be Liverpool’s year.

I know Chucky ?. If there’s one thing Utd fans have got used to, it’s other teams’ fans wanting us to lose. It comes with the territory of being the meanest, baddest, biggest, best thing on the planet.

I think you’ll get your wish a few times more this season to be honest. I certainly don’t expect us to take anything home from Wembley when we play you in a couple of weeks.

If Poch does leave, who do you fancy getting in? Howe? Anyone else?
