As for Hazard Maverick. He’ll come good but he’ll never be a galactico as its not in his temperament and that’s been true throughout his Chelsea career too. Switches on the talent when he wants, last year was his most consistent in terms of producing goals and assists over the course of a season. On his day, better than Ronaldo and Messi or on a par… they just produce 365 days a year of total football sunshine hazard does it for 165 days a year and works on market stalls during the winter months.

3rd October 2019 at 12:44 pm #49174Adlab even with injuries your winning 8-0, itβs your depth that will win it again for you. Too much quality in the squad for anyone to compete with. Your on the money with our injuries, we lose one of the top 3 or worse 2 of them & we are screwed. Your midfield has a lot more variety & quality than ours as well & whilst your D could be better your too potent up top for it to be enough to stop another EPL title. As I said recently Itβs a pretty predictable scenario, Iβm not just saying it to be negative.

3rd October 2019 at 1:10 pm #49175Unless they are club legends like Drogba, Lampard, Zola, Terry fans don’t really like older players and they prefer them to move onthat’s why older Chelsea players like Willian, Pedro to name 2 divide opinions widely across the fan base, I actually think they been well treated by management past and present you don’t see young players getting as many playing opportunities to prove themselves as they have had.

3rd October 2019 at 2:35 pm #49180Good points well made Blaze.
Personally I still think currently there’s room for a bit of experience in such a young side but medium term I can’t see either Willian or Pedro for being around too much longer.
I thought Willian had a good game last night and Frank seems happy with him, Willian’s future will have to be sorted out one way or another shortly as he can sign a pre contract agreement with another European Club in January.
Another good cameo from Hudson Odoi and it can’t be too long before he’s starting games.

3rd October 2019 at 2:46 pm #49182I don’t think it was genius by Marina to sell Hazard to Real Madrid Chelseaman given he only had one year left on his contract and that was the only place Hazard wanted to go but getting up to Β£130m for him Β£88m with potential add ons with only a year left on his contract was good negotiating by Marina though imo.
As Mav says give Hazard a chance Real are not currently like anything like the real deal and may not be for some time and Hazard has been out injured for 5 weeks.
I’ve been lucky enough to see some great players in the flesh at the Bridge from Osgood to Zola and as great as some of them have been he’s the best I’ve ever seen live and in the flesh in a blue shirt but it’s all about opinions.

I know he never would though. The guy is Liverpool through and through.

4th October 2019 at 8:00 am #49225watched both united and arsenal games with them bieng on one after the other, the united game nearly had me asleep and i nearly missed my game!
uniteds game was very poor, AZ should have one that, some slick play from them.
as for my mob, that was a wonderful display and very excited by both Martenilli and Tierny both of whom had a fantastic game
also happy for Bellerin after sucha long injury lay off and he looks both good and seems to have grown up a bit also, him and tierny will make such a big difference at both ends of the itch and take some pressure off the CB’s…
no bad perfomrers tonight only slight annoyance is he didnt get a hatrick he fully deserved

The rules in Real Madrid are simple. in order to have a chance you need to hit the ground running immediately. or you won’t have any chance. Kaka was the same age as Hazard when he has joined Real Madrid. and we know how his story ended. i hope Hazard won’t face similar fate and he comes good for them. because we have unfinished business with Real Madrid. a performing Hazard could net us an extra Β£50m. but i’m still not sure after watching him a few ganes.?

You’re definitely wrong here I’m afraid. As for him “sprinting” to Stamford bridge. Our rivalry with Stamford Bridge was created by him and Jose. It didn’t out-live his time at the club by too long either. Our rivalry with Utd is another story.
Also, you kinda make it out as if Rafa couldn’t get a top job. His accepting of the Newcastle job was not down to it only being the likes of them, that would take him on. He’s a challenge/project man. His brief time at Real Madrid has only gone and re-enforced this nature of his. Or did at least. His time at Newcastle is another story, as I’m sure you can imagine. Rafa is now seemingly semi-retired though, making more money than Utd would ever pay him.
I do hope he comes back after a year or 2 of making up for lost income from that venture North. No matter where though, it won’t be to Utd.
