Ed, that’s fair enough, but every team he has been at post Porto has had the capacity to win the league, Inter were no exceptions, they were champions when he took over and he didn’t need investment to maintain the standards of Mancini or even better it. The great achievement for him there of course was the CL victory, as there were better and richer squads throughout Europe that year than Jose’s Inter.
Maybe you are right and the squad at spurs is already capable of challenging with a coach like Jose, I just don’t see it myself.

2nd October 2019 at 8:08 pm #49072I would be soooo disappointed if Maureen Verminho got to sit in the Spud hot seat… not debating whether he is a great manager or not, that’s a mute point, but I just don’t like the man…

2nd October 2019 at 8:28 pm #49076Sure I just heard monkey chants aimed at the Ajax keeper as he faced a penalty against Valencia. Which they missed. That made me happy.

2nd October 2019 at 8:32 pm #490782-0 Up and happy for Andy Robertson. He works really hard so it’s good that he’s on the scoresheet – one of my favourite and valued professionals – couldn’t understand the abuse on twitter he received when we lost to Napoli.

2nd October 2019 at 8:38 pm #49082Robertson is one of the best left backs in Europe and I would not trade him for no one. 8m and he had everything you want in a full back. He can defend, recover , attack. Brilliant player

2nd October 2019 at 8:57 pm #49091Chelsea have got overcome this ball into the box defending problem they can’t keep bleeding goals like this. We need to ditch the zonal mwrking imo.

2nd October 2019 at 9:03 pm #49092Mourinho, Southgate, Allegri of Eddie Howe are all irrelevant names to replace Poch because there’s no way that Spurs will pay Poch the money required to sack him and equally no way that anyone will be prepared to pay the money required get him out of Spurs.
