Don’t think there’s any choice Chucky I can’t see Spurs paying Pochettino off giving what it would cost them.

2nd October 2019 at 2:39 pm #49043So who did Trippier sleep with then? Still dont get why he was sold. Spurs have been benefitting from many good decisions and long term planning over last few years. Seems there have been a number of bad decisions too that have gone under mainstream radar but all seem to be rising to the surface at the same time. Convenient for Poch to have distanced himself from these decisions, even more convenient for him is that he is credited for the good and Levy is responsible for the bad.

2nd October 2019 at 2:45 pm #49044Me and the Ed are really the only two on here who have really doubted poch. Just something missing from that excludes him from being a top top class manager.
He has spent money. Two cup finals and spurs didnβt really turn up in either.
Spurs havenβt won away from home since Jan. Players are regressing. Heβs taken spurs as far as they can go. Heβs done a brilliant job but I think he would struggle at utd or Madrid
Danny rose was available for transfer but starts every game so was Aurier. Some bizarre decisions

2nd October 2019 at 2:48 pm #49045Stevo I donβt think the press will mention anything about infidelity unless they have pictures like terry that time
Could be all one large yarn. Going around Ireland st the min, is that Conor Murrayβs missus was with some other lad while on holiday in Dubai and itβs a lie. This shit starts up all the time. Runours gather pace very quickly with the internet etc

2nd October 2019 at 3:15 pm #49046AnonymousIt’s just mental that Spurs haven’t won away in the PL since January. How is that even possible?

2nd October 2019 at 3:26 pm #49049In Rose’s case, I have a feeling we won’t be seeing much of him once Wee Ryan is up and running, and in Roe’s defence, he hasn’t been that bad this season. Going from last season onwards, I’d say his been one of our better players. Certainly better than Trippier was for the last half of last season and whatever numpty has been playing RB this season depending…
Without a doubt, Weirdy Beardy shouldn’t even be in the squad, so it’s either KWP, Disco, or even Dier playing RB on Saturday… at least Dier, for all his faults, gives 100%… I’d take that right now!!
The hopeful line-up for the Seagulls would be:
GK Hugo… (still our best goalie whatever way you look at it)
DF Disco, Jan, Toby, Davies
DM Winks, N-Dumb
AM Son, Ali, Moura
ST Kane_____________________________

2nd October 2019 at 3:59 pm #49050AnonymousChucky I believe Poch will play Foyth when fit at RB where he plays for Argentina, I would drop Winks and put Eriksen there not ideal but Winks has not developed his game and should be moved on..Disco was trying to mark about 3 players last night as Winks was to far forward time and time again Dier should be given a chance as a DMF next to Disco .where he looked half decent before his injuries.
I’ve made a list of current 1st team players that I think Poch will want to keep, Lloris, Rose, Sanchez, Disco, Ndombele, Lo Celso, Sessegnon, Dele,Dier Lucas, Sonny, Kane, Foyth , Lamela and possibly KWP
That means Toby, Jan, Eriksen, Aurier, Davies, Wanyama and Winks to move on , a bit harsh but maybe it’s time to rebuild as we ain’t getting top 4 anyway.
What’s your thoughts ???_____________________________

2nd October 2019 at 4:58 pm #49057Chuckles, glad youβre in the IN camp, thereβs obviously something amiss in the camp, personally I donβt think itβs the manager thatβs the root of the problems and getting rid of him doesnβt necessarily solve the problem at source or long term and it also strengthens the player power that we now have at a lot of clubs. I hope the owners back the manager on this and Spurs can move onwards and upwards…..Pagan

2nd October 2019 at 6:33 pm #49064That’s it Sean. What’s happened to Dier and Alli, in particular. They’ve massively regressed from being England’s first choice midfield pairing to not looking good enough to start for Spurs.
Really mean no offence to the Spurs lads here but the run to the final last season wasn’t exactly vintage either. Spurs apparently only led in approx 100mins in the whole run to the final. They were poor in the group, only recovering at the last moment to get through. They were very good against Dortmund, scraped though with some very fortunate decisions against City and were barely present in the final. I just don’t buy into the hype.
Like Steve says, he is another Wenger (post trophy competing). Very nice football but not threatening at all when it comes down to the crunch. Not ruthless enough and runs out of ideas. The advantage he has over Wenger is he hasn’t had to deal with losing his best players every season like Wenger had to. That seems to be coming to an end now with a few running their contracts down, though. If Spurs got rid and got in Allegri or Mourinho, I’d be worried. Yes I’m being serious with the last one ?

2nd October 2019 at 6:44 pm #49067Ed, jose would only go to spurs if guaranteed massive backing in the market imo as he will want to compete for the title and without massive backing, whether Jose, Poch or even Pep is in charge the team will not be able to challenge, especially after the exits of so many of their experienced players, many by the looks of it on a free.

2nd October 2019 at 6:54 pm #49068See I don’t think that’s the case. He didn’t have massive backing at Inter. He looks for teams capable of winning things (either currently based on squad strength or with poorer squads but financially powerful). The squad is there and ready. They need a winning mentality which, in my opinion, is the one thing Poch is severely lacking. Besides, there aren’t many heavily backed sides left which he can pick from who he hasn’t already managed. It’s PSG or a bigger challenge, I’m afraid.

2nd October 2019 at 7:00 pm #49069AnonymousMav, big trouble in N17 mate, the cause will come out in time maybe when a few players move on and write “Their book”.
Ed, as far as I know Dier is fully fit and I would play him in front of the back four.
Dele is fit as well, the problem is he’s forgotten how to play football, no idea why, i want the player we had 2 years ago,not the showboater/nutmegging player we have now.
We have the nucleus of a very good team if Levy invests again, if chooses not too the dream is over._____________________________
