1st October 2019 at 9:56 pm #48994Wow Spurs absolutely battered. Even their pen was questionable. Men against boys. What’s happening at Spurs at the moment?

1st October 2019 at 10:02 pm #48995sorry banjo mate. spurs fans were great and fully behind the team even at 2-4 and 80 mins, they didnt deserve to get embarrassed in last 10 mins like that. Bayern werent even really pushing, the goals were supremely well taken but spurs downed tools.

1st October 2019 at 10:41 pm #48999Sorry Chucks and Bricklayers for this Result. I have never come across anything like this for the time I’ve followed the game.
It wasn’t so bad at 4-2 down, but this is just a different territory.

1st October 2019 at 10:46 pm #49000Nathan Jones should really have stuck with Luton. That’s him sure to be out of a job following tonight’s defeat at the Bet 365.

Commiserations to the spurs lads. Seems like spurs are imploding. Maybe Utd discussions with Poch have moved near completion.

1st October 2019 at 11:14 pm #49002Just watching the Pochettino interview. Youβd have thought heβd just lost the game narrowly the way he spoke, saying repeatedly that Bayern were clinical, almost appearing quite relaxed about it all. Is Poch ultimately too soft? As impressive as the CL run was last season, Spurs havenβt won an away game in the premier league since January. So there have been worrying signs there for some time now.

2nd October 2019 at 5:46 am #49004I’m disappointed to see Spurs lose so heavily, I know a lot of their supporters and feel for them as they are not your difficult know alls like so many other clubs have. Bayern like Real are also not exactly my favourite team so was hoping for a Spurs win and still can’t believe the score, however always said there strength lays upfront and their weakness has always been their defence. So nothings changed.

2nd October 2019 at 6:30 am #49006Spurs fans, now that the dust has settled a little, what now? Is it time for Poch to go? Sounds crazy to even contemplate that

2nd October 2019 at 6:46 am #49007I had this weird dream last night, kinda funny, but Spuds were playing and at half-time Poncho made 11 subs and played the women’s team for the second half… amazed the ref didn’t notice…

2nd October 2019 at 7:21 am #49010There’s a lot that needs sorting out at Spurs that goes deeper than just Poch who is no longer the hot property that he once was and even if he was available I’m not sure even before this defeat United or Real would move for him now.
Changing the Manager may not be the right solution and it would cost Spurs over Β£30m to pay him off even if that’s what they wanted to do.
The sensible strategy is probably to sort out the rebels get rid of the deadwood and back Poch in the transfer market.
I suspect last night was a bit of a one off and Spurs can still get out of the Group from there though they would probably draw one of the big dogs which will be a test for them this season and dropping into the EL may not be the worst thing that could happen to them and who knows they might go on to win the EL.
Interesting times at Spurs brilliant Stadium but the squad is in need of rejuvenation and Kane has said he wants to win trophies?

2nd October 2019 at 7:57 am #49011blimey, didnt see that coming, spuds 35 minutes of CL quality football followed by….?
said it before and i will say it again, the spuds current journey since they got Poch has reminded me so much of Arsenal under AW (without the trophies)….to be fair though at the time we only had one money bags team to beat and they have many money bags clubs and 2 of the strongest teams ever to beat…but, form the years of austerity, keeping a squad together for a long time, not spending, shiney new stadium and now comes all the down sides of those things, it gets harder to keep players and harder to bring players in but these kind fo results do happen, we used to get beat 5-1 consistently by Bayern….something needs to happen if you dont want to follow us down to the levels you used to be at
shout out to former Arsenal man Gnabry
he is a starange one, i liked him a lot but he never hit the potential he had, then got loaned out and tanked on loan and now he is a real star for both Bayern and Germany….late bloomer! though surprised how young he still is, he seems to have been around for ages
