Reckon the Goonies vs Villians is the big one this week with a few potential banana skins for the other “top 7″… all about getting into the grove…
Still disappointed with our draw, same issues as last season, creating plenty of chances to put the game to bed long before we let in our usual “sloppy” goal… still, we’re not bored, never know what’s going to happen.

21st August 2024 at 11:23 am #215332I’d disagree about the Palace and Wolves games, if I’m honest… Palace are losing players left right and center, and Spammers I thought looked quite good agasint Villa… I’d go with them if I’m honest.
And no way are the Jammy Todgers scoring 3 against a side as organized as Wolves… if the win, it would be a 1-0 job… 🙂

21st August 2024 at 1:16 pm #215334Chucks, you might be right, re Palace.
They need to keep hold of their better players.

21st August 2024 at 1:20 pm #215335Welcome to the Premier League Ipswich. That’s a tough 2 opening games to be fair.
Palace have lost players but still have a number of talented ones. I predict Wharton will be the 2025 Bellingham, as in everyone will be after him and lauding him as a generational talent.
Think Brighton will beat Utd.
Easiest prediction is Spurs v Everton as Everton are looking very poor.
Chelsea won’t score 3 away from home. Or even at home. Or even accumulatively in 3 consecutive matches!

21st August 2024 at 1:51 pm #2153403p’s… I wouldn’t be so sure… the only thing you can gaurantee with my Spuds is we’ll have at least 15 cracks at goal… might score 7, might score 0, and Toffee’s will score at least 1!

22nd August 2024 at 9:41 am #215343Reckon United will lose against Brighton. They seem to have our number over the years regardless who their manager is.

23rd August 2024 at 12:09 pm #215348Are we going to have another Gerrard, Lampard, Scholes situation.
Try to play them all, rather than pick players who are suited to a system.

24th August 2024 at 12:59 pm #215353Pretty ibviuous yellow, but if we are playing to the letter of the law, at least Rashford should have been booked for waving a “card” around…
Anyway, I see Eric Dier’s waterboy is still isn’t starting… 😉
