Well, went out today as there was no decent game on this afternoon, not on my telly, only to see the results when I just walked through the door…
Really surprised by the Leicester result, they looked very, very average when we played them last week.

26th December 2018 at 5:08 pm #30101We were awful today. Lucky it was just 2-1. We are really suspect down the wings which exposes the central defence. Thats it for the title for sure unless we win the next 18 games – which on this form ..no chance.
We have hit a really bad patch, injuries and worldies dont help but we are not taking our chances and not getting the bit of luck you need..eg Liverpool pen.(not that it made any difference)_____________________________

26th December 2018 at 5:09 pm #30102Beaten by another ‘worldie’ but didn’t play particularly well – teams are now learning how to set up and play against us. How can a team with so much talent miss one player to the extent we miss Fernandinho? And Delph, as well as he played last year at left back, has clearly shown some deficiencies this season – at fault for their first and could have conceded another shortly after due to his suspect positioning.
Tall order now……..too tall I suspect, especially the way ‘pool and Spuds are playing. Absolute must win against the scousers next Thursday.

26th December 2018 at 6:27 pm #30107Don’t know about everybody else but I thought having bought the best RB in the world for 52 million and then have him spend 18 months under the tutorship of the best manager in the world, I find these calls for new RB’s something confusing… 🙂

26th December 2018 at 6:43 pm #30109AnonymousAmazing how you can be a fan of someone but if they have a few bad games, they need to be replaced. I think Man City fans have sadly forgotten where they came from.

26th December 2018 at 6:49 pm #30110AnonymousPogba was cracking again today. Top performance from him. Just goes to show how much formations and tactics affect players.

26th December 2018 at 6:51 pm #30112It’s easy Paxo, anybody who shows signs of improvement is simply done to having the best manager in the world, anybody who shows’s signs of going backwards, gets put in the reserves when a seventy million pound replacement shows up… 🙂

26th December 2018 at 7:15 pm #30115Players come in and out of form even the very best Messi couldn’t buy a goal for a long period in 2017.
Walker has never been a great defender but he has been one of the best attacking right backs in football but he was left out today after a poor run of form such things happen I’m sure he’ll come again.
Well done to Liverpool and Spurs on two fine wins big test for City now but I wouldn’t write them off just yet.
But the table doesn’t lie teams are where they deserve to be and rightly Liverpool and Spurs lead the way.

26th December 2018 at 7:34 pm #30118Well done to Spurs and Liverpool. The title is Liverpool’s to lose low, surely.
And fantastic to see United and OGS get another win. Hopefully Pogba will start to really perform from now on. There is a player there somewhere. Also great to see City lose again. Well done Leicester._____________________________
