Was going to be longer but I ran out of space!!!
Not much doing at the top of the table, the Champions’ lead was extended again in week 17 and a very good chance of extending it further as 2nd are playing 3rd.
So, to the footy, a spanking for the Spam Boys, bag of coal for the Goonies, home win for the Cuties, come on you Watfoirjd, and a nice Sunday afternoon punch-up for the Spuds although I do think their stockings will be full come Sunday tea-time and the race for that final cash-cow which is the 4th spot will be well and truly open!!!

16th December 2019 at 9:57 am #56777Haha, Beejay, we’re involved in the World Club Tournament and the EFL Cup this week 🙂
WestHam’s been postponed mate as a Result. Basically, The Final will be on at the same time as when Man City play Leicester, this Saturday at 5:30.

16th December 2019 at 10:31 am #56779Don’t worry Nil, Spam-boyz are so bad at the moment LiberoOol’s would still win despite being 6 thousand miles away in some mid-season friendly nonsense tourney… 🙂
Going for 4-0 LiberoOol!!

16th December 2019 at 10:50 am #56780Can’t see Cuties losing again at home. I think Leicester will lose to both Cuties and Liverpool and the top 2 will be restored. Can’t see any of the other usual suspects dropping points aside from one of Spurs or Chelsea. My bet for that one would be 1-0 Spurs

16th December 2019 at 11:25 am #56781De-bryne was on fire yesterday. I’m not sure whether Leicester’s midfield would be good enough to withstand the ilk of KDB, Gundogen, Silva, Sterling etc.

16th December 2019 at 5:21 pm #56835Chelsea’s problems have been against teams that play the low block and don’t want to come out. I can’t see Spurs playing like that on Sunday so it should be a good game. Chelsea probably need to get somewhere near how they played v City with Pep describing them following that performance as the most difficult team City have played this season.

16th December 2019 at 5:25 pm #568369-with Pep describing them following that performance as the most difficult team City have played this season. Didnt we just spank the Cuties only last week?

16th December 2019 at 8:12 pm #56846You’ll have to take that up with Pep Mav.?
I suspect it’s got something to do with Chelsea being the only team v Pep to ever dominate possession.

16th December 2019 at 8:35 pm #56847Would rather dominate the score line than possession to be honest.

16th December 2019 at 8:51 pm #56848threeps, wouldn’t argue with that at all buddie but it’s Pep’s opinion that Chelsea gave City their most difficult game this season. It doesn’t really make any odds though one way or tother.
Here’s what Pep actually said “The Chelsea game last month was the one where we struggled the most,” “They were the side who caused us the most problems by far, even though we won.” My point really was that Chelsea will have to play to a similar level as they did v City if they want to get anything from the Spurs game.

20th December 2019 at 8:07 pm #57098Mav, really would be a 2-1-3-1 Man City. I get you though mate. If Leicester happen to win, then it’s a tall order for Manchester Blue. Historically, I think only Blackburn have been the team to win a League Title with 6 Defeats.
It’s Leicester getting boosted mate, and living in these shores, it’d be a bit of a ‘poison chalice’, so maybe this might be the attitude to latch on to
🙂

21st December 2019 at 8:19 am #57100The game of the weekend is Spurs v Chelsea.
I hope it lives up to expectations and that the travelling Chelsea fans forget about Mourinho and that whatever the result Mourinho and the fans behave themselves.

21st December 2019 at 12:29 pm #571119s-Not really mate, the game of the wknd is Cuties vs Foxies,as it could more or less decide the title if Cuties win or there is a draw.

21st December 2019 at 1:21 pm #57117Mav, the title is all but done and dusted City and Leicester are almost certainly playing to gain an advantage in the race for 3rd and 4th place.
Spurs v Chelsea is a London Derby with no love lost between both Club’s , players and fans, it’s always a massive game and then there’s the Mourinho factor and the race for 4th place.
On the basis of all of the above “the game of the weekend” imo.?
