I predicted a Chelsea win , 3-1. wasn’t far off. I was regretting my prediction 30 mins in. Thankfully Chelsea took full advantage of their chance though. It was very one sided until that moment.

Another away game, another win. All very comfortable especially in the second half. Good to be able to rotate and rest key players although I wouldβve kept Kane off the pitch for the full 90.

Mav, you do surprise me wishing a Chelsea win???????
I’d have thought that if you harboured any realistic chances of CL spot, you’d have wanted Chelsea to lose, no?
Anyway, onto the game. Well deserved win for Chelsea. If you dominate the first half as much as we did and don’t take advantage, you’re going to pay for it against a good team with a good manager – Chelsea the better team in the second half and like I said, well deserved win.
Do think Pep made a mistake today, playing a very young team – all bar four of the starting 11 were in their early 20s. But what do I know?
We definitely need Aguero, KDB and Mendy back soon, and hope Merlin’s not too badly injured.
Just to note, after only 16 games, we have played all the other top five away from home so still confident we’ll be top come the end of the season.

Gj, I’d imagine like most fans of teams not in the title race, Mav just wants to see an actual title race where there is some sort of competition. Nobody apart from City fans want to see the league become like the German league was with Bayern winning it with loads of games to spare every season or like the French league. Utd face a massive uphill task to get CL anyway so we’re not even thinking about that now. I think everyone still has City as favourites but a closer title race is good for the league and the neutrals.

Spot on steady,lazy Eddy-Like I wrote a few days back re the title,just dont want the EPL turned into the BL,Serie A,Ligue 1,or the Scottish league,with City winning it with 10 games left.
gjblues-Not a chance in hell United making the top4,not that United deserve the 4th and CL football.I felt sorry for Fulham watching the game yesterday,after they did spend quite a lot of money during the summer! Even the useless United with useless players like Mata and Matic on the pitch,carved them open as if they were playing with 5 men! Everton or Watford deserve the 4th ahead of United.

Cityboy…I think Pep did when he switched earlier in the second half, Imo, Sterling is a winger, same as Sane. Fernandinho is well overworked, he needs a rest, bothgoals preventable, Sane did not track Kante and out big boys Walker/Laporte should have covered Luis but credit Chelsea they took advantage of our too many below par performances

Adlab-cheers fella,as for the game itself,well,you had one of the best strikers in the world and best midfielders missing,so of course your boys were weakened.Wait till you get them back and see what a difference they make.Just hope City dont go on to win the quadruple,cos as for the PL title-in the bag!
