2nd December 2017 at 3:32 pm #8230Maverick, I think it was circa Β£17m but it was 4 years ago and KDB wasn’t the KDB of today.
Here’s Frank’s view on it. “The former England midfielder believes Chelsea had too many other options at that time and that De Bruyne was not patient enough to wait for his chance. βIt was a difficult time for the club, you had (Eden) Hazard, Oscar, and Willian had just signed. He wasnβt as good as he is now,β Lampard told BT Sport. βOf course itβs easy to look and say βwhy did you let him go?β, but heβs gone away and made himself a world class player”
Probably both sides at fault but still a big mistake by Chelsea imo.
My biggest gripe with it has always been that there was no buy back clause or sell on clause inserted into the deal by Chelsea and I blame Emenalo for that. But you can’t cry over spilt milk. ?

2nd December 2017 at 4:50 pm #8235Maverick, would City be prepared to even think about selling KDB very unlikely imo , would KDB want to go also very unlikely imo why would he given where City are now, their future potential and financial might.

2nd December 2017 at 5:06 pm #8239Maverick, that’s the test now for Klopp can he dovetail a decent defence with the obvious offensive abilities that Liverpool already have.
It’s more than just signing new defenders though but if Klopp can do that Liverpool could become real title contenders.

2nd December 2017 at 5:19 pm #8243Just checked the table and a draw on the Gunners-United game would suit Pool nicely as we now have a more better goal difference; + 2 ahead as it stands.

2nd December 2017 at 5:20 pm #8244Maverick@3:23pm missed that post. Mav, tbh mate I wouldn’t say suspend the betting there’s still 23 games to go and we’ve seen big points leads get overtaken previously.
Personally I don’t think it will happen this season against this City team but the odds are so long now I can’t see too many putting any money on City now which means the betting on City has been effectively suspended anyway.

2nd December 2017 at 5:35 pm #8246Looks like Arsenal haven’t woken up! To be fair, United have started the better and deserve that lead.

2nd December 2017 at 5:39 pm #8247Just saw the free-kick awarded to Sanchez (YooUtd game now…), is that really considered a free-kick these days?

2nd December 2017 at 6:18 pm #8254Almost.. with a very little almost… feel sorry for the Goonies, it would only be a very biased YooUtd who would say the Goonies don’t deserve at least one goal for their efforts this half…

2nd December 2017 at 6:22 pm #8255Chucky, I’m amazed Utd have gone in with no goals conceded there. Utd deserved the lead but it’s been all Arsenal since. It’s hard to see how this can stay 2-0
