Cheers Paxton/chucky for that assessment, interesting considering I’ve only seen you lot play a full game against us & that was pretty impressive. Wanyama & Aldo were the 2 names my mate mentioned you missed & he also said you lacked a bit in the middle in recent weeks. How long are these players out for?
I still think you’ll be there about for a top 4 finish but it’ll be 1 hell of a battle between you lot, chelsea the gooners & us.

Last I heard Vicky and Toby are out until New Year and with Dier being pushed back into a CB role it does leave mid-field a bit light, leaving arguably our best pairing of Dinksy Winksy and the Moose (who is not the player he used to be, no idea why!).

I think Poncho needs to drop this 3/5 at the back system and go back to the 4-2-3-1, with a back 4 of Trippier, Sanchez, Van the Man, Davies and put Winksy/Dier in the holding roles, leaving 3 from (and in order of preference) Ali, Erik, Son, Lamamla and the Disco Bunny to fight it out behind Harry.

And cancel Lllrorntes contract, I thought we got a World Cup Winner, turns out we got Roberto’s and Vinny’s love child….

Only just seen the Mignolet incident.I think he can count himself a lucky boy it was a definite red sadly there just seems no consistency from the officials on key decisions.

Dier certainly has the capability to have brain-farts at times… most of our cock-ups to seem to have him involved at some stage…. but other than that, he’s great!

Thanks for asking, but I do rate Trippier, was quite surprised when Poncho went out and bought Aueururererr. I was thinking Poncho would have gone for a less-developed player, so to speak…

Sean, the worrying thing is not whether Mignolet should or shouldn’t have been sent off last night it’s the inconsistencies of the officials that we continue to see week in week out.

Refs getting the narrow decisions wrong is forgivable but dead certs like last night is unforgivable. Atkinson should be stood down for a bit now imo.

I quite rate Dier but not as a defender. Wanyama is better though. The poor performances have come since Toby got injured which is when Dier got dropped back in to defence.

Trippier is good but don’t think he’d get in at any of the other top clubs. Walker is so much better and as much as I didn’t want to miss him, we really do. Rose as well in my opinion. They may not have been the best defensively but going forward they are brilliant and with 3 at the back the defensive side isn’t as important. Trippier has great delivery but isn’t always quick enough to get in the right positions. It slows play down whilst they wait for his overlap.

Rose doesn’t look fit

I don’t rate Dier. Very average in my opinion

Nine, I agree. Atkinson never gives us much so I was very suprised it was only a yellow. It was a definite sending off

Have to say Dier looks so much better in midfield than CB, especially when Toby is playing. We looked half decent when Vicky was missing, but as soon as Toby went as well that’s when the wheels feel off in my opinion.

Also don’t think Trippier is that slow, only slow when compared to Judas II, but is I think a better footballer. The only thing Judas II has on him is pace (but yes, we do miss it!).

Mignolet should well have walked for that challenge on Diouf,Atkinson as Sean says never gives us anything in games so that had to be a bonus for Us.
