Good effort from Mount, not sure why he didnt start though.. but that’s poor from Kepa.

23rd November 2019 at 7:23 pm #53853Another utterly absurd offside call by VAR.

23rd November 2019 at 7:23 pm #53854City just a bit too good for us but we’re heading in the right direction and currently we look better than the other teams chasing 4th place which would be an incredible achievement for Chelsea this season given all the circumstances.

23rd November 2019 at 7:24 pm #53855Threeps, Trent was poor today but so was most of the team. I thought vvd was immense just like he was at sheff utd in an intimating atmosphere.
Zaha always gives us the fun around
Absolutely massive 3 points and another late goal. Horrible place to go do just delighted we won
Games are always tough after the international break

23rd November 2019 at 7:26 pm #53856AnonymousThreeps, I was only going off of Sky’s ratings. They had trent as a 5 and Hendo the same but it was only a few weeks ago that those idiots gave Mane the MOTM when Fabinho had played essentially a perfect game. I saw that nice ball from Hendo in the highlights and at that point, it’s hardly his fault that he didnt get an assist for it.
there’s a lot of that from people though and I’m not talking about the Hendo debate. In general though, players can do their job perfectly but if the guy next in line doesn’t do his at that moment, the previous person gets absolutely no credit… if it is then scored, they do also get the credit.

23rd November 2019 at 7:28 pm #53858What another VAR nonsense. Im sure the defenders hand put him onside.
Thats because we complained about that arse Oliver.Still not a bad game . Thought Chelsea were good until the final third. More injuries for us. Rodri, Aguero Silva. When will it end.

23rd November 2019 at 7:28 pm #53859Mikus, itβs farcical, itβs a system that should be used to correct howlers, not rule on things itβs not accurate enough to do so.
Best comment Iβve read on it was in response to the 7 out of 10 comment, they just put βin that case as the titanic almost got to the states that was an 8 out of 10β…Pagan

23rd November 2019 at 7:29 pm #53860Not sure about that VAR call on sterling. Didn’t look like it could be accurately measured with those big fat lines. Looked level to m le so advantage should go to the attacker.

23rd November 2019 at 7:29 pm #53861AnonymousThe fans have got to start demanding attacker advantage. Was he actually, legitimately milimeters offside , or is VAR actually wrong? I saw the line before I switched it off, I saw it live.. it looked 100% legit to me.
ATTACKER ADVANTAGE RULE PLEASE.

23rd November 2019 at 7:30 pm #53862Thought City deserved it. Gutted but not that hard to take because some of our play today was so good it is clear we are going to win plenty of games this season. I thought like Nine pointed out it was individual errors that allowed City to turn it around, but equally City could have scored one or two more. Just like our game against Pool at the bridge, in the end the experience, intelligence and sheer quality of our opposition proved too much, but both games were only 2-1 losses and with a little more quality and fewer errors we could be taking points in these games next season.
Wonder which Left back we will buy as soon as the ban is lifted? π

I THINK IT IS JUDGED ONLY BY PARTS OF THE BODY THAT YOU CAN LEGALLY PLAY THE BALL WITH BUT EVEN SO!

23rd November 2019 at 7:32 pm #53864Armpit again, haha π
Got bored with that if I’m completely blunt.
I think Chelsea are likely to be more of a threat if Kante makes those runs and drives forward. Pedro missed. They need a real quality central midfielder to be able to hold that ball and basically be a Compass to thread the right passes, otherwise in fairness to them, they were pretty resolute tonight.

23rd November 2019 at 7:32 pm #53865Yeah lads, how anyone watching from any angle can be sure that Sterling is offside is beyond me.

23rd November 2019 at 7:38 pm #53869I understand the authorities canβt really come out and admit VAR is a disaster from a PR point of view, and the other problem is they canβt really change it now this season or else weβd have had two different systems in the same season and thereβd be no consistency. So we have a very bad system but itβs the same for everyone. Theyβve got to change it next season though. I was hoping theyβd at least start using the monitors more, but that looks like itβs been thrown out the window.

23rd November 2019 at 7:40 pm #53871AnonymousWell Sean, congrats mate, you won the bet! I’m not sure how to pay up with regards to a cyber pint but hands up, I got it wrong. I think Chelsea could have got something from it. I’m not sure about Willian, although the passing to him was very suspect at times.

23rd November 2019 at 7:42 pm #53872Congrats to City fans here. they fully deserved their win. and we were lucky to have lost 2-1,on another night it could have been 4/5. the mistakes that we are making in big matches always cost us. we knew City had a weaker defence, so Mount should have started. anyway, there are three outcomes in football a win, a draw and a loss. and we lost i hope it’s another learning curve for Lampard, he got the Reece James sub spot on as it tamed Mahrez who was threatening to shoot us every time he gets the ball. but didn’t understand the logic behind the Abraham sub. Batshuayi didn’t impact the game at all. the Mount for Jorhginho one was correct but it should have been at half time. time to pick ourselves for the Valencia game.

23rd November 2019 at 7:45 pm #53873Maybe on a slight positive, (if it can be deemed this way), we are slowly now knowing what to expect with VAR. Managers seem more chilled. We’re seeing more consistency.
