Maybe Angie is learning… was asleep for the first goal, just woke up for the 2nd, and then spent 70 minutes rubbing my eyes thinking I was dreaming!

23rd November 2024 at 7:41 pm #216538Sean just enjoying the moment mate; don’t often get them π
We have tough games ourselves and in football, anything can happen.
There’s a long long way to go, but it’s just nice to enjoy your rivals get beat.

23rd November 2024 at 8:38 pm #216539Spurs can go one week as prime Real Madrid to the next as prime Rochdale. Today was certainly a Real performance.
Sean, I get why you laud City so much, its because historically they bounce back and go on crazy runs. But this current team has so many injury problems or players out of fitness or form that it’s not just a little wobble they are having.
Agre with Mikus they liley will throw 100m or so at the problem in the winter if the right player is available. Zubimendi? Would be mad for him as he would be 2nd choice once Rodri returns you’d think. But then money does talk.

23rd November 2024 at 9:10 pm #216540Three P’s, this is the thing mate.
I get Sean’s position based on Manchester City being quite frankly exceptionally the best side on planet consistently.
I’d be more inclined to think historically of Liverpool stuffing up more than capitalizing.
Life’s and World is pretty stressful to say the least and with the PL back, it’s just nice to enjoy and be expressive in moments.
Chucks hasn’t really said a word Tonight, that’s the MOST worrying of things hahaha π π
Chucks, give us Kula mate; He is a Wonderfully Consistent Winger.

23rd November 2024 at 9:21 pm #216541Also, Three P’s, had my eye on Bet In Play our of Curiosity and City’s odds as expected on REPUTATION didn’t increase Rapid on Comeback. Spurs However, shortened on the Flipside and in Correlation.
Just Beautifully crafted in All Goal. Just Football Essentially from Plan of “Big Bad Wolf” to Capitalizing or making the most of opportunities presented from Space or lack of Man-Marking.
Very Well Done Tottenham.

23rd November 2024 at 9:24 pm #216542Keep saying it, Maddison and Kulusevski are 2 of the most underrated players in the world! Vicario, too, exceptionally good goalie! Love to see Spurs challenge for the title. Well done, Kylie!

23rd November 2024 at 9:32 pm #216544What can I say? Been saying all season our points total hasn’t really been a true reflection on our performances, especially the 0 points from the two games against the Goonies and Bone Saw Boyz…
As Waspy likes to point out, we are a bit open at the back, (absolutely gobsmacked Davies/Dragusin kept a clean sheet today)… but I think the biggest diffrence today, both Bossina and Sarr stayed very central with Madders floating, the team looking more like Poncho’s 4-2-3-1 rather than Aussie Ardiles full-blooded attack 4-3-3 (which looks more like 3-2-5 most of the time).
Maybe Angie is learning to be a bit flexible…

23rd November 2024 at 9:36 pm #216545Mav, GREAT PRESENCE and love you loads as ever.
Kula is an UNDERRATED FIRST CLASS Winger in which any Premier League Team would LOVE and Employ (or should do), in a HeartBeat.
SON and James Maddison and Kula the Drivers.

23rd November 2024 at 10:02 pm #216547Nil- I’ll have Kula and Sola in a heartbeat over our so called wingers and strikers. As for Son, he has been world class for years. But Maddison is extremely underrated, should be playing for Barcelona, IMHO -no offense to Spurs

23rd November 2024 at 10:04 pm #216548MAV, Thank You Mate. No Easy Ride Tomorrow. Tough League.
I don’t think 3 Defeats Re Man City means a great Deal in Context; it’s just the whole unfolding in circumstances.
First Match Mate Under Amorim at Portman Road. No Andy Cole Mate Haha π π π

23rd November 2024 at 10:08 pm #216549I agree with 3ps, this 115 team is done! Either too old, (Kdb, Walker, Gundogan, Silva,Ederson ,Kovacic),or need replacing, like Stones, or extremely overrated like Gvardiol, Grealish, Doku.

24th November 2024 at 8:46 am #216553Threeps, ah 5 defeats now so definitely more then a blip chum. Central midfield looks weak and walker is defo on the wane. Ill never write them off but the likes of Liverpool, arsenal and even chelsea will never get a better chance. Lets see how we get on today.
Chelsea are ticking along nicely but i think they are defensively suspect. They are playing some good stuff.
Rodri is just a huge loss and i do think zubamendi will go there in jan.

24th November 2024 at 8:54 am #216554Banjo, said it many times, i like ang as i watch celtic a good bit and been to games etc and he had them playing great football.
Spurs are great to watch and itβs absolutely brave football but so naive at times. Yday was the best all round spurs performance under ang. Maddison dropped deep at start of2nd half and spurs kept the ball so well.
They dropped to 10 behind the ball and git on the break then. Unlike brighton were they were so open at two nil up. Great performance and win but can theu consistently do that and stop results like ipswich?

24th November 2024 at 10:10 am #216556The task we can I’m sure all agree on is defending their PL Title will be harder. Weird compared to previous seasons the pattern in the number of defeats as early in the first 12 matches of the campaign and almost a third of the season gone.
The Xmas period etc will be an interesting time for many. Chelsea are coming on nicely and should be included at least for Top 4 material. Gunners bounced back.
Liverpool have to play Newcastle and Spurs away soon, so better for them to focus in securing points on the less tougher opposition.
City at the moment have a multitude of problems brought to surface. Weird how Pep signed an extension, but you feel that maybe, his reign is coming to an end. All these chapters open into analysis and deep thinking, but then one positive result can wipe this out and before we know it, City back on track to win everything available to them.
