They created some great chances Pagan. They had long spells of good play even besides those near goal efforts. I would much preferred to have been talking about this kind of thing and maybe I shouldn’t get so sucked into the nonsense but that absolute filth from 3 lads is unacceptable.

Enjoyed the game, but can’t hide genuinely on the first part being nervy when City had the ball in our half and were getting corners.
We have this season conceded at and have gone behind at Anfield. Perhaps it might have been a different story had this been the case and with the Handball given.
Was absolutely delighted when Fabinho’s goal went in. It came across effortless. I then had those memories of the old 4’O’Clock Sky Games flooding in and expecting to see Stan Collymore on the screens, haha π A lot of those periods of play to be fair to Liverpool, we looked comfortable, coincide with the fact that those attacks were on the counter when we had space to exploit.
Pep it seemed had to be blunt in going for Attack-attack-attack. I don’t know what the situation is, but he could have benefitted today with Riyad Mahrez as the person to get around our defence.
Something was mentioned about Trent’s weakness and being able to be exposed. Even though for a short period of time, huge recognition in the authority and composure shown by Gomez when he came on. He is definitely Top Dollar and Klopp needs to think about using him now in the up and coming games.
I’ve often been critical in Firmino because of judging him solely on his Goals, but he REALLY played his part in all areas of the Pitch and he’s an Asset for us, so I take back any previous heavy criticism towards him.
I feel going forward into that period of time where there’s going to be a Hectic Handful of Matches, We’ll Be Ready. As Long As We Can Stay Fit. What’s evolved for us vividly in recent weeks is OUR DEPTH being able to get back up to SPEED. They are going to be Vital to us in our mission to bring SUCCESS.

Fabinho is one of my favourite players though. I annoyed fellow fans after his single good performance in a CL match against some minnows. Sometimes you just know a player has got it and I knew then. I may critize him for some mistakes that he made, that led to goals , earlier in the season… that doesnt mean he isnt still one of my favourite players tho. I wouldnt sell him for any money. well, no less than 200m.

Pagan, city played quite well
Especially in the first halfTheir Back 4 was seriously hindered with players missing

Nil, and it was a difficult 90 minutes. City were really good. It’s like I didnt get the chance to talk about the game. Everything was a conspiracy. How about we focus of how Aguero was unable to get 2 inches further forward? That’s how close he came to scoring and it had nothing to do with a ref but the build up play for so many City attacks was great.
There has never been a team who are more impressive with the ball than Pep’s City. Not in history. If you disagree then show me.
Liverpool had to counter them and counter their style they did. It helped that it was a home game but we have class all over the pitch. The one man team days are a distant memory. We may have contained and countered for large parts but we did it at an exceptional level and we deserved the win.
PL is not over, not even close.
