Get your predictions in below!
Some good games this weekend. Tricky game for Liverpool away at West Ham but it’s a poor West Ham side so they should have enough to win.
2 big ones on Sunday. Can’t see past a City win at home to Arsenal and a draw is probably quite likely between Chelsea Utd. Neither side are really playing well enough at the moment.

5th November 2017 at 7:57 am #7111Liverpool silenced a lot of doubters yesterday and probably ended any hopes Bilic had of keeping his job. I really thought they’d drop points yesterday against West Ham but they looked quite convincing in the end.
Two big games today. Arsenal just don’t win games like this one and Mourinho will probably go into this one hoping for a draw. I think we’ll see Chelsea find some form again today as this is a game they’re always up for.

5th November 2017 at 8:15 am #7113He slowly walks up to the jukebox, one hand rustling in his pocket for some change. He finds a battered 10p pence, slotting into the machine. He doesn’t need to search long, the buttons long worn from the endless use since Wednesday from the Chelsea and Manchester City fans who’ve recently frequented the bar… there is its, B1, “They Ain’t As Good As They Used to Be!”. He pushes the button, hears the whirring of the internal workings, and turns to leave. A wry smile spreads across his face as those familiar sounds begin blasting around him, almost laughing at the Liverpool fans still drinking doubles all round… little did he know he’s beloved Spurs were going to draw later that to the only team in the League worse than West Ham… π

5th November 2017 at 8:57 am #7123Surely utd will have a go at a fragile defence? Canβt see arsenal getting anything.
Iβm not saying utd go hung ho but at least have a go. They need to start winning games like this if they are to be serious contenders
Ed, Liverpool Punished West Ham yday but Iβm not getting carried away mate. Looks like we are beating teams we usually have issues sgainedt. We beat two teams recently who really sat back at Anfield but long way to go

5th November 2017 at 9:13 am #7126Need a draw really from the Arsenal game.
Should be a comfortable afternoon for Spurs
And if points are dropped from Stamford Bridge, then a more profitable week for Liverpool.
I must admit I am becoming increasingly irritated by the International breaks every month. Why can’t they just play them all out in one go?!

5th November 2017 at 9:35 am #7127I can’t see it Sean. Utd have a dreadful record against Chelsea. Liverpool’s defence was there to be got at and Utd offered very little going forward so I can’t see Mourinho springing a surprise today. He’ll be happy with a point at Stamford Bridge. I’d be pretty happy with a point there too. Very few teams will go there and get a win.
Seeing Pogba getting on the pitch could give Utd the boost they need though to get something. It wasn’t until he got injured that we started playing worse.

5th November 2017 at 10:15 am #7132They have to start going to these places and winning though ed. City did. Chelsea are a very good side but they arenβt defending well and can be got at. A draw is not good enough if city win. utd have the plwy tks to cause Chelsea issues. Arsenal could have won there. Tim for utd to step up and I believe they have the players even without pogba to be more adventurous. I hope they attack to make it a good game. Be interesting to see if they man mark hazard again. I think they will go with 3 at the back. Kante has been a huge loss for Chelsea

5th November 2017 at 11:17 am #7138Never knew who our 4th choice goalie is, I do now!! Looks like the win over the “has-beens” has come at a cost. Would like to think we would still have enough for a struggling Palace, take a shitty 1-0 win with a goal off Disco’s backside in 87th minute….oh, no Ali too, but Son isn’t the worst backup to have…

5th November 2017 at 11:39 am #7140banjo, there are big question marks against Real going forwards they currently look to be in real decline they are very unlikely to catch Barca in the League and have just lost to a recently promoted Girona which is not what you expect from the current World, European and Spanish Champions things might improve with injured players like Bale returning but currently Real look very unlikely to retain the CL which would leave them with just the Copa Del Rey.
Despite what Zidane has won as Real Manager if things don’t turn around Perez will act and even if Zidane survives Real are in need of some drastic surgery next Summer.
Real are the biggest club in football given their current situation should we not discuss them?

5th November 2017 at 11:49 am #7142From a Chelsea perspective a lot depends on the return or not of Kante his form after injury and how well Drinkwater slots back in besides him.
No Kante with Matic gone who does the simple things well has left the Chelsea defence too exposed.
I don’t think Mourinho will go gung ho he will look to be strong defensively will probably assign Herrera to man mark Hazard and look to hit Chelsea on the break to claim the 3 points.
Don’t expect a great open game it won’t be that. But if City win in the earlier game Mourinho can’t afford City to get 8 points ahead effectively 9 points with the goal difference.
Equally there’s ridiculous media pressure bring heaped on Conte and he needs a win or at least not to get beaten and Chelsea need to ideally take 3 points in the race for a CL place.

5th November 2017 at 12:20 pm #7147Goldie… couldn’t give a rat’s asshat about Madrid, we took 4 from 6, even with the likes of Ronny, Benzema, Modric, Kross, Ramos et all still playing.
Anyway, this is the Weekend Prem thread, feel free to start another thread about Madrid if you want!!
So, who’s after Conte? π
