Not corruption, he just doesn’t like Klopp. He didn’t give Villa two pens last weekend, so it’s not that he gives everything against Liverpool.
It’s one one those which is better unsaid, and I can see it ending his career, but he is allowed an opinion on Klopp. I bet you wouldn’t be able to find a ref who didn’t feel the same about Fergie back in the days.
If managers are going to dig out refs they can’t expect the ref to like them.
Have to ask why it’s been leaked now, he is stupid for saying that to a camera phone and I do wonder if he has been blackmailed over it. Stupid man, poor referee but if you had to find referees who likes both PL managers before the match could be played they’d be very few matches played each week.

Yeah, not sure why this has broken out and spilled now on public domain.
Naturally, fans etc will question his integrity from his judgement on past decisions involving him.

Yes, only natural Nil. I would do myself, but the gist of it is that he thought Klopp was an arse (albeit the c word). Without wishing to upset anyone, he wouldn’t be alone there.
He can’t think much more on a few other PL managers either.

I don’t think Coote is corrupt, at least not by a 3rd party, I just think he’s totally incompetent. The only corruption could be his own views/opinions on teams and managers influencing his decisions and with all that’s happened between him and LFC you could argue the case.
Refs are supposed to be neutral and ref the game from an unbiased view point. Whilst refs are human and all humans have opinions even if they shouldn’t, by publicly outing his he has compromised his position. He can never ref a LFC game again as any decision going either way will be scrutinised to the nth degree and he will be under immense pressure. I think he should be struck off PL duties but that’s more to do with being the worst ref in recent memory.

I’d agree with those who say he’s a bit of a twat but not corrupt.
And, yes, you have to think ref’s “remember” things that players/managers say about them or to them during a game, it’s only natural. You would certainly want to think ref’s aren’t thinking about previous form and take every incident on it’s own merits but I would think that’s bloody hard to do with all the “bullshit” they get during every game over the course of season upon season, especially when every game is scrutinized to within an inch of its life afterwards.
I certainly don’t think players/managers can get the violin out if some is dished back… for me it all comes back to respecting the game itself and not twisting/bending rules to suit themselves.

So Coote has allegedly been filmed snorting a white powder through a bank note during the Euros where he officiated. Could be fake of course in this day and age there’s lots of fake rubbish going around.
Never one to jump on the conspiracy theory bandwagon but it seems a bit odd this and the Klopp video are leaked at the same time. Could Coote actually be a victim of something more sinister and worrying than his apparent behavior? Has he upset someone enough to have these videos released?

Yep, I think he is Threeps. I mentioned a couple of days ago that I thought it could have been a blackmail attempt, and this just adds to that.
Of course the two videos might not be linked, as I think the second one might have been a newspaper scoop and they were waiting on something to trigger their ability to release it. Papers work in the most underhand of ways.

By all accounts the fella who has shared then both did because he was fed up of coots sending him these videos around matches and tournaments over years. Not sure I believe that and donβt think itβs anything more sinister than getting a huge wad of cash from the current bum and other journalists not that they are indeed journalists

At the end of the day if he is doing some coke and loving large at euefa expense as well as all the other stuff that goes with it and then takes multiple videos over years and more sends them onto people then he pretty much has no one to blame canβt say I feel remotely sorry for him
