With what is happening in the current climate, I personally have little knowledge and if you like Education as to why/root of Putin’s action over Ukraine.

It’s harrowing to say the least on what we have discovered and what has unfolded so far.

We can Pray and Hope that this comes to a STOP quickly more than anything.

Hey Nil. It likely stems from Putins perceived shame for Russia after the end of the cold War and the break up of the USSR. What his true end game is, I’m actually a little terrified to hazard a guess.

I have seen reports of Zelensky coming out defiant and standing up to Putin, but infrastructure and innocent people are dying. There has to be some fast intervention.

Would this also force families to flee the country?

Nil. the War in Ukraine will only end one way the might of the Russian forces ultimately will be too much for the Ukrainian forces.

The West can’t intervene with forces as it would start World War 3, sanctions and supplies of armaments can only go so far.

The likelyhood is that once conquered Ukraine will become a puppet state.

The World is now a much more dangerous place.

When I read one of the reasons printed from the BBC, it doesn’t make any sense to me. He feels threatened by Ukraine so he attacks them as a result. There’s more to Putin than this for sure. Something underlying.

Nil, I think Putin wants to recreate the old USSR and he’s also afraid of Ukraine joining NATO with all that that means.
