Utd have every chance nine. 4 games left. Results went their way big time over the weekend
Big chances missed by Chelsea and Arsenal
Utd need big performances but they have showed they can play. Not expecting much from Wednesday but they still have a huge chance of top 4

23rd April 2019 at 1:16 pm #38608AnonymousSean, the thing is, we want Liverpool to win regardless, even if there’s nothing on the line for us. Anyone who would prefer to not qualify for the CL just so bitter rivals don’t win the league, are DEFINITELY not real fans.
It’s even worse that they want them to lose to their city rivals in the derby… I don’t think we can take these people entirely seriously.

23rd April 2019 at 1:19 pm #38609Theyβd probably have the CL almost wrapped up by now…if they hadnβt made that announcement. They were one of few sides in this battle that had some fight in them.

23rd April 2019 at 1:38 pm #38613Sean, United are definitely not out of the top 4 race but currently they look the least likely to qualify having said that I’m sure Chelsea can do them a favour on Sunday and gift them a couple of goals to help them out.?
I wouldn’t be too perturbed by what United fans might be saying about the Manchester derby they won’t play any part in what happens on Wednesday night.
I think it’s definitely a more difficult game for City after the Everton result than before it but whether that will be enough to bridge the gap between the two teams is open to conjecture.
Whatever happens tomorrow night I still think there might be a twist or two both ways between now and the end of the Season. Cheers 999

23rd April 2019 at 1:47 pm #38615Ye nine I know what you are saying
Itβs be crazy if both teams win all their games without at least one thing popping up
If city win their remains ganes, they fully deserve to be champions

23rd April 2019 at 2:18 pm #38623I think you’re right Mav but that applies to Chelsea and Arsenal too.

23rd April 2019 at 2:51 pm #386259-Both Emery and OGS need @ least another couple of transfer windows to be able to sign & sell their own players.

23rd April 2019 at 3:00 pm #38627AnonymousSean, it’ll be a 14 win run if City dont drop another point. That’s pretty incredible in itself but it also gives you hope because teams very rarely go much beyond a 10 game streak.

23rd April 2019 at 4:21 pm #38631Mak, City won 18 PL games on the trot last season beating Chelsea’s previous record of 13 PL winning games on the trot.

23rd April 2019 at 9:52 pm #38654If City do happen to beat United, there is still hope in Brendan Rodgers:
He sure is chasing 7th and my guess is that he’ll need something at the Ethiad to get it.

24th April 2019 at 5:27 am #38659I think with a C/L campaign still ongoing LFC are far more likely to drop points than city. In all honesty Wolves would be the most difficult opponent either has to face but for me is both will probably win all remaining EPL games. As Sean said many moons ago, as soon as itβs out of Liverpoolβs hands, itβs over.

24th April 2019 at 6:52 am #38662AnonymousOz mate come on lad, just a pinch of faith. It’s not over! and it won’t be over if City beat Utd 10-0 tonight.
You said that City would be well clear by now before. there were times when I absolutely agreed with you. We were both wrong. Isn’t it possible that you’re wrong here?
https://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/winner
Look at those odds. If it was over or if we had almost no chance, you’d get 30 to 1 on us. yet, quite a few of those companies are only offering slightly better than evens!
I’m not just being blindly optimistic, the facts state that we’ve got a chance and all it takes is one slip up from City and for us to keep blowing ahead and it’s feckin ours!
Now that’s no small ask as the pressure will be insane and you’re right, Wolves are gonna be no joke but Leicester have won 4 of the last 6. Burnley have won 3 of the last 4, drawing the other. I’m sorry but I’ve got to disagree with you and say that city DEFINITELY have the harder run in. I think you’re letting the negativity get the better of you and have gone into that cycle where you’re expecting it to all go wrong at every turn.
I get that and have kinda felt that that a few times this season but yet here we are, smashing our own records, telling City they better win them all, breathing down their necks!
I’m not overly concerned about the barca ties, there arent many games left and we don’t look tired so far. If Klopp needs to rest one or 2, he’ll find a way. Obviously we’ll need luck with injuries but that goes without saying.

24th April 2019 at 8:20 am #38663If it rains, if the sun shines, if the wind blows, if United wear red , if so and so plays for United , if United are hurting, if De Bruyne is injured, if United want to claim a CL place, if City can’t keep winning ,if Burnley need a point, if Leicester need to finish in 7th place, if Brighton need a result to stay up.
But what if the Barca games are testing mentally and physically, if Rafa works a bit of his renowned tactical nous in the middle of the Barca ties or if Wolves need a result for a Europa League place.
There are so many if’s and buts, but what will be will be and whoever finishes top of the PL table at the end of the season following a titanic title race will deservedly be crowned PL Champions.
Frankie says “Relax”. Let’s all enjoy a brilliant title race as difficult as that may be currently for the fans of both teams. Sadly it will all be over soon and then it will all start all over again in a matter of weeks.

24th April 2019 at 8:44 am #38665AnonymousHope City win cause they deserve it but seeing Liverpool haven’t won it for decades don’t really care if they win it this time. It’s the same as we all wanted Leicester to win it just once.
