24th April 2019 at 10:34 pm #38805Your club is Pathetic mate, ‘blossomed’ with just money thrown. I don’t really care about you personally, but I’ve know this league of my lifetime. Laugh and insult as you wish.
Of course I’m wanting/Watching festering draws/losses. You know what. have your ‘title’.
Soon every other out there will clock on and you’ll be ‘Anti’.

24th April 2019 at 10:39 pm #38806Chill Nil. It’s a fuckin’ game of football – no one’s died. You take it FAR too seriously and your health may suffer for it.

24th April 2019 at 10:50 pm #38807Two massive results to dig out after the disappointment of being eliminated from the CL by Spurs and given the pressure City have had put on them in the title race.

24th April 2019 at 11:01 pm #38808A massive result tonight, I feel. Was very nervous before ko and half an hour in but I think our extra quality showed in the end. Balls back in our court but still all to play for – we’ve got three pretty tough fixtures so need to keep very focused and take ‘one game at a time’.
It’s been a hell of a title race so far and may the best team win – shame there has to be a runner-up._____________________________

24th April 2019 at 11:12 pm #38811AnonymousNil, “Your club is Pathetic mate”
If someone had said this about Liverpool, you’d have launched nukes. Like, GJ made the drink remark only because you’re going off like if you’ve had too many. it might be offensive but it’s to make a point man and he’s not wrong.
You need to relax before a certain someone has enough of you. calm down and log off for the night.

25th April 2019 at 1:19 am #38813AnonymousIt’s not over though. City have taken a large weight off their shoulders but one bad game from either team ends this as a contest.

25th April 2019 at 2:09 am #38814Jeezus settle down Nil, everyone expected city to win it at the start of the season mate so it’s hardly a surprise. I suggest not getting to caught up with it all mate, with us pushing city all the way this season I expect a hefty spend in the summer to keep them ahead of everyone else and yet again being the benchmark so it’ll be more of the same again. Sadly it’s all about money old mate so don’t get to caught up in it.

25th April 2019 at 5:21 am #38816Damn, had a work do so I missed the whole thing, lots of Finnish Firewater was drank and as I was poured out the cab last night I just about managed to crawl into bed without the Misses realizing I’m home (and as happy as a lamb frolicking in the hills!). Mind you, woke up this morning with a bit of a Rick Astley concert going on in my head, not a happy lamb at all now… but then I check the backpages… π

25th April 2019 at 5:34 am #3881097 possible points. 30-7-lost only 1. Where’ the justification there?

25th April 2019 at 5:41 am #38819Credit to City, after a tense first half they changed gear in the second and Utd were chasing shadows. I thought Utd would offer more and whilst at first they looked up for it they also lack quality. I can’t comment for the entire season but Fred looked a bit like Kleberson last night, out of his depth, and I have no idea what Pereira offers. With Pogba strolling around with his hands in his pockets (and getting out jumped by Sterling!!), this has to go down as on of the weakest Utd midfields for many years. And surely it’s time to stop labeling De Gea as World Class? He has been poor since the World Cup but is still being assessed on previous ability.
The league is not over, not yet. City overwhelming favorites for obvious reasons but Burnley away is not easy and I think they drew there last season. Brodgers will be desperate to win just to be able to say he won the league for Liverpool but in all likeliness it will go to the final game.
Whoever wins, it’s been an incredible effort by both teams. Two exceptional teams.

25th April 2019 at 5:57 am #38821Nil, the justification of 97 points and second place is that City would have 98 points and sometimes, whilst not nice to come second in such a close race, you have to applaud your opponent on such a fantastic achievement.
Try be the bigger man and take being beat, if it comes to that, with dignity.

25th April 2019 at 6:31 am #38823I understand the meaning of 29 years Silly-Willy-Nilly, it’s exactly 50% of the 58 years us Spuds have been suffering under…. where’s the justice in awarding these shiny pot things?

25th April 2019 at 8:16 am #38825Itβs over for me.
City are in flying form.
Keep hearing about twists and turns around the corner??? Thereβs been none and there wonβt be any
Clinging onto hope every week when city keep winning.
Dropping points at Everton was our downfall
