One stunning goal and two howlers from Karius you can’t legislate for that but everyone knows Karius has mistakes in him and Liverpool have to buy a Keeper in the Summer.

26th May 2018 at 9:36 pm #22208God why my friend. This is out of order from you. No trophies for 6 years and 6 behind Manchester United.

26th May 2018 at 9:39 pm #22209Wijn’s a let down and it just goes to so why we need Naby Kieta.
When in life will Liverpool be the Complete Package?
I just want a few decent trophies, that’s it.
It kills me day in day out when other Premier League teams win it and we have nothing.

26th May 2018 at 9:44 pm #22212Unbelievable really Real have looked pants all season and they win their 3rd consecutive CL.
Expectations were probably too high for Liverpool after the City and Roma ties.
As I said all along to win this Liverpool had to be on their A game offensively and be strong defensively the loss of Salah blunted Liverpool’s offensive game and Karius gave two goals away.
But Gareth Bale’s goal was simply world class and worthy of winning a CL Final. Congrats to Real they’ve hung on in there this season.

26th May 2018 at 9:51 pm #22215It’s crazy Nine how poor Real have looked at times this season yet it just seems so routine for them in this competition when it really matters. It’s funny because I’m still not convinced about Zidane as a manager but you can’t argue with his record in this competition.
Commiserations Liverpool fans on here. Another loss in a final for Klopp and I’d really start to wonder now if he just lacks that killer instinct which the elite managers possess. That ability to get over the line more often than not, when it really matters. He’s done a superb job to get to all those finals but at what point do you start asking questions?

26th May 2018 at 9:51 pm #22216I’m listening to 5 live now and I’m sincerely glad for Kelly Dalglish being on tonight as well as Alan Green. Sick of numpties and females wading in just for the sake of making up the ‘quota’ for the sake of it.
That would have angered me more – glad for comfort, there’s Greenie.

26th May 2018 at 9:58 pm #22217Adlab, we in life are simply a goof-up. That is us as Liverpool all over.
No wonder people laugh at us mate. We do all this hard work, build ourselves up, and then stuff up.
Story of my life mate. No trophy since 2012 and this is a Travesty. Mo Salah OUR BEST PLAYER INJURED. SADNESS.
I just in life want trophies as a living Human Being.
Not a lot to ask is it really?
I HATE SINCERELY The Run Of The Mill I have to Experience on Message Boards over a course of the season. It’s purely awful.

26th May 2018 at 10:00 pm #22218Ed, tbh I thought Klopp looked a bit lost tonight. Obviously he couldn’t have predicted the Salah injury but Karius is all on him and the goalkeeping situation should have been sorted in the Summer.

26th May 2018 at 10:13 pm #22220Completely agree Nine, I donβt actually blame Karius tonight, I blame Klopp for ever believing he was good enough. He already had to drop him last season, but still kept persisting with him, even when Mignolet was still performing.

26th May 2018 at 10:17 pm #22222We can talk about the GK mistakes all day long but the pivotal issue was the loss of Salah. Up until then, Liverpool were the better team but from that point on all their confidence seemed to drain and Real’s grew immeasurably. I do think if Salah had stayed on the pitch, Liverpool would have won that game.

26th May 2018 at 10:30 pm #22224GI, appreciated mate first hand, but there’s always been an underlying HOWLER IN KARIUS.
Even BRUCE GROBBELAAR wouldn’t have done this. AN ASTRONOMICAL LET DOWN AND WE HAVE DEEEPLY SCREWED OUR OWNSELVES ITS JUST MURDER.
I don’t know what will happen now, it’s very sad π

26th May 2018 at 11:54 pm #22233Very disappointed with the outcome tonight. Real used dirty tactics. I wouldnβt be surprised if it was a team tactic to take Salah off the game. These Spanish teams would play all kind of dirty tactics and still get away with it. What might had been had Salah stayed? Bale was class. Once again this game have proven the gulf in quality between the two teams. once Liverpool lost Salah, they had not been the same team. While Real could bring Bale from the bench and he has won the game for them. Although the Liverpool keeper played his part in the two howlers. Without that. The game would be even. Whatever the outcome Liverpool had a fatastic season. Ignore the wind up merchants. I salute you guys?. You will have another chance next season.

27th May 2018 at 9:57 am #22240Commiserations to all the Pool lads on here, and especially those who travelled to Kiev for last night. What a calamity is the goalkeeper and the Liverpool defence bar VVD,of course! Klopp deserves some criticism going his way for not addressing that issue during the summer. Why are Mignolet and Karius as goalies,Lovren and Moreno as defenders costing the club ££££ every week?Very sad for Salah, hope the injury is not as bad as it looked.

27th May 2018 at 10:09 am #22242Cheers Mav and C/Man, much appreciated.
I don’t why all this unlucky stuff happen to us?? Is it karma, is it fate?
Karius’ silly blunders are no better than Stevie G’s slip to let Demba Ba in, and they in turn are no better than Liverpool failing to close out 1 minute at Anfield in 89 to win the League Title. It’s plain stupidity from us and we shoot ourselves in the foot yet again.
All that hardwork to get to the final in the first is just poured down the river.
Bale is a top top bloke and that effort from just admirable. You could sort of sense though that Karius’ screw up moment was to be unfolded. He’s no different to Mignolet and it’s time Jurgen Klopp bites the bullet and gets shot of both of these two. De Gea would never had done this.
How can anybody not be able to roll out a ball with ease and block with two hands without parrying into your own net? You wouldn’t even do that at Schoolboy level, it’s beggar’s belief.
We could have forced extra time, but instead, we just gave Real an easy ride.
