28th October 2017 at 5:54 pm #6776What a way to top off an unbelievable year for young England sides. Completely schooled Spain. Brilliant

28th October 2017 at 5:55 pm #6777Missed the celebrations after leaving the room and returning to see that Gardner’s world is on. Turns out you had to press red to watch the celebration. What is the point, replacing the best thing to happen to these youngsters with some crap gardening show.

30th October 2017 at 4:32 pm #6836Wish I’d seen the game, but was at Anfield. Those who did see the game tell me that there was some really top quality football played by England, particularly in the 2nd half. It really is a great achievement, and it would be graet vto see some of these youngsters get a bit of time on the pitch for their clubs over the next few months, but I think it’s unlikely. As the City lads have said above, good though Foden is, who would he replace in the City team. The same goes for Brewster at Liverpool, especially as we already have another Tournament Golden Boot winner ahead of him in the pecking order.
It will be interesting in 5 years time to look at Saturdays team and see where the career’s of these kids have taken them. Good luck to them!

30th October 2017 at 8:12 pm #6837Hightown…Foden would not replace anyone at the moment, his time will come and he will be nutured by Pep. Let the hysteria dampen a little. He is without doubt a talent, I see him replacing Fernandinho in two years time, in the meantime he will get opportunities to be in the squad and get game time, not bad for a 17 yr old. You have to remember he was playing at 17 yr old level, which is a high standard but a long way off the rigours of Premier, however, he now trains daily with Silva, KDB Yaya and the rest so his education will continue
