I never know what to say when it comes to deaths but a 9 year old, to cancer is just not right. If ever there was proof that there is no God then it’s in these incidents that we truly know.

Given his statement Luis Enrique seemingly still has his faith which I hope provides some comfort to both him and his family at such a terribly difficult time. Dreadful disease that strikes so indiscriminately.

I am feeling so sad for the family, no words good enough from me. The old saying that time heals is of little consolation at this time but I mention it out of my personal grief of having lost a very brave Grandchild

Itβs not bloody right little kids getting sick, they are innocent & no kid deserves it. I hate reading about it & just visiting the childrenβs hospital to see a friends youngster made me feel very uneasy, seeing kids in wheelchairs with tubes everywhere is gut wrenching. I donβt know how people work in there but thank god they do & god bless them they deserve more money.

Nine, indeed. Honestly, whatever provides some comfort at a time like this, is a good thing. I shouldn’t have mentioned my own atheism there, apologies.
Brian, so sorry to hear that man. My sister lost her baby a few weeks before term… It really hurt our family for years. It’s very unjust (if such a thing existed in nature). It definitely feels it.
Ya Oz man, I’m not sure how people do it either. That would definitely break me. As you said though, it’s good that some can manage it.
