Tragedy for Michael Ballack and his family.

“The 18-year-old son of former Chelsea midfielder Michael Ballack has tragically died in a quad bike accident, according to reports in Portugal.

Emilio Ballack is said to have lost his life in a crash close to the family’s holiday home, near Lisbon.

Michael Ballack with his son, Emilio, who has reportedly lost his life in a tragic road accident aged just 18.

The teenager is said to have been killed in the accident in the early hours of Thursday morning, at around 2am.

Portuguese media are reporting the accident occurred in Troia, south of Lisbon, and close to a house owned by his Germany legend father.

It’s a tragic loss for 44-year-old Ballack and his family. The former midfielder is regarded as one of Germany’s greatest-ever players and is remembered fondly by Chelsea fans.

Ballack spent four years at Stamford Bridge, winning one Premier League title and three FA Cups”

So young with his whole life ahead of him. Rest in Peace Emilio.

Really tragic I feel for the family, it’s always worse when it’s someone we know. Despite problems with kids nowadays its still a nightmare of the worst possible kind to lose a child.
