It is utterly unacceptable that games like this are allowed to take place. It is taking money and time from fans under false pretences.
All these small teams should be together in one group.
City’s EDS team would beat this lot. An absolute farce. 6-0 at half time. It could be 10._____________________________

15th November 2021 at 9:16 pm #188986Totally agree with Adlab and I said the same last week San Marino have got no points whatsoever have conceded over 40 goals and scored only one goal themselves and it’s 8-0 now.
If there was ever a case of FIFA needing to arrange a pre qualifying group prior to the qualifiers this game is it.

16th November 2021 at 6:13 am #188993AnonymousSo thanks to Jorginho Italy the Euro championa are out the world cup, I never know a more overrated player of recent times, though to be fair there have been worse ones who have thankfully stopped playing.

16th November 2021 at 7:35 am #188994“Italy the Euro champions are out the world cup” And there was me thinking that Italy were in the play offs with the draw to take place on November 26th. Not like you to put up inaccurate posts Moos.π

16th November 2021 at 7:57 am #188995They even made Tammy Abraham look good although I was starting to doubt him for a while after he came on against San Merino whilst Harry Kane got a whole bunch of cheap goals to take him in front of Lineker in the pecking order. Isn’t it crazy that any goal scored in the last minute to win a world cup final is worth exactly the same as those seven Kane has scored this weekend against donkeys. One of sports anomalies I am afraid. What a weekend eh for Kane like a vulture feeding off of a carcass of a deceased sheep (Merino).

16th November 2021 at 8:17 am #188999Be interesting to see who Kane has scored againest for England Chelsea mate
This is the best England squad in a long time. Some of the young talent coming through is unreal. Smith Rowe, saka, foden, Bellingham, gallagher etc. Thatβs not mentioning the likes of rashford, Sancho, grealish aswell. This is a very exciting England set up and there is really no formidable country out there like Spain a decade ago. This team needs to win something

16th November 2021 at 8:20 am #189001Absolutely Sean. Well said. Exciting times ahead. The threat going forward to success could simply be Southgate cocking it up. Time will tell.

16th November 2021 at 8:21 am #189002I was wondering why we suddenly seem to be producing so many good young players
Itβs more of a production line than a one off generation and from many more clubs across all positions β¦ for me itβs because we have slowly been stepping up to have faith in British youth rather than scouring Europe for foreign players and youthLong may it continue been a long time coming

16th November 2021 at 8:24 am #189004Sean, two against Germany and one against France. The rest …….well…… go to the bottom of this Wiki page and see for yourself. Every goal for England is listed showing the opponents. I am not surprised.

16th November 2021 at 8:34 am #189006Be interesting to see the “quality” of the oppositions that Looney Rooney scored his hatful agaisnt… I seem to recall Rooney scoring a hell of a lot less during actaul competitions in his entire career compared to what Sir Harry has already got… (don’t remember Charlton’s list of victims being that impressive either!)

16th November 2021 at 8:35 am #189007San Merino arn’t the worst getting around to be fair. The mighty Australia have revelled in the glory of destroying sub standard opponents with the record at the level.
Australia set a world record for the largest victory in an international football match, winning the game 31β0. Australia’s Archie Thompson also broke the record for most goals scored by a player in an international match by scoring 13 goals. The victim was American Samoa.
Archie wasn’t a bad footballer by any stretch of the imagination but he would barely be fit to tie up Harry’s shoelaces for him.

16th November 2021 at 8:40 am #189009Ah banjo Kane has 7 goals in 2 games. Itβs ridiculous mate.
Heβs a great finisher. FairPlay to him but is it really that impressive chum?

16th November 2021 at 8:49 am #189011Nope, it isn’t, but being Harry’s Stepdad I have to mention that he’s not the only Engerland striker to fill his boots against piss-poor opposition… and naturally, when you cyber numpties start up the “but look at the oppo’s” debate to knock him down, I have stick up for him like any step-dad would… you’d do the same for your boyz, admit it! π

16th November 2021 at 10:28 am #189014I reckon I could have scored a couple last night San Marino were that bad.π
Hopefully FIFA act now to sort out these pointless match ups in qualifying games.
