I’m aware there’s some frustrations around the internationals but there are lots of interesting games over the next week hopefully we can keep the talk to purely the football on this thread.

Huge to get through
Whatβs the story with the euros next year ? Is it not hosted in one country?

12th November 2020 at 10:53 pm #170169Brilliant night for Scotland making a Finals after so many tries. And what a finger nail biting way to do it. Heartbreaking night for Northern Ireland though.
Good performance from England with a number of very good individual performances.

13th November 2020 at 7:03 am #170174Yeah pleased for Scotland. Good to see then at a tournament. I’m sure they’d say the same if it was the other way round π .
Sean, no it’s hosted in several countries for the first time next year.
England looked very good yesterday in the first half then seemed to take their foot off the pedal a bit, which is understandable. Grealish showing again that Southgate can’t keep leaving him out of the big games. We look so much more inventive with him in the side.

13th November 2020 at 7:13 am #170175As for Bellingham, I’ve yet to see what the hype is about to be honest. Maybe I just haven’t seen enough of him yet. I’m still perplexed by the whole retiring of his shirt at 17yrs of age! That could be clouding my judgement…
The more I’ve seen of Sancho this season, too, the more I’ve felt we potentially made the right decision in not going as high as Dortmund demanded. He certainly hasn’t looked like a Β£120mil player this season, anyway.

15th November 2020 at 7:58 pm #170278AnonymousHow does a player like Dier get to play for Spurs and England, a real bad player, I’m sure if I had his opportunities I could do much better

15th November 2020 at 9:43 pm #170284Bit of a strange game that. England dominated but just couldn’t get good enough chances. Grealish once again the best player on the park. He can’t be staying at Villa beyond next summer, surely.

16th November 2020 at 8:17 am #170287AnonymousHow do teams qualify for the main Euro tournament, what do this current games achieve, can’t only be the top team that qualifies, it’s not enough teams for the actual Euro. Anyone know the exact way this plays out?

16th November 2020 at 10:18 am #170289AnonymousAh this is taking the piss, Robertson injured his hamstring. COME ON LIKE!
Literally our entire back 4 are out now, along with some of the back up.
And Nine, I have Chilwell in my FPL team, or course I have Robertson also. I had to put Salah on the bench cause he got covid. What on earth is going on here!?
I only came here to talk about how Grealish finally getting the international recognition would likely trigger some major interest from the top top sides and I wanted to put it to people which ones they think might go for him. I then see Chill well out, so I went to check FPL and … Robbo too.
We’re going to get an awful pasting from the next few teams to play us.

16th November 2020 at 10:44 am #170290Mak, Robertson allegedly has a tight hamstring I doubt he will travel of play v Israel he might have a chance if he goes back to Liverpool for treatment although it might be more sensible to rest him for a few games so it doesn’t develop into a full blown hamstring tear.

16th November 2020 at 10:45 am #170292AnonymousNine, definitely man, if we play him I’ll be upset. If it’s just tight then a rest for 10 to 14 days and he’s fine, probably best to go 14 days to be on the safe side. We cant take any risks now.
still upsetting though.
