Big Ange convinced many that he was the real deal after his 1st ten games. But his stats since then have been poor.

He is like Big Sam, regardless of how poor his sides perform, his relationship with the press will always overshadow any criticism.

He is out of depth at Spurs. Graham Potter would do a good job there imo.

I think he’s had a big wake up call coming to the PL having only managed in much smaller leagues previously and his stubbornness will likely be his downfall. Going around talking about how he ALWAYS wins trophies in his second season is comical when taken you consider the leagues he’s managed in compared to where he is now. No idea how he escapes media scrutiny like he does.

His style of play is like Ole’s. This gung ho football, which is careless. His personality is like Big Sam. Cracking jokes to mask over the poor results.

If he was at United, all of this would have been picked up on.

Spurs cant defend. Like big ange but the pressure will grow.

All have a pop at Spuds week, is it? πŸ™‚

My opinion, as a Spuds fan, is results (as in points) should be a lot better than it is, but we aren’t playing that badly… we’re continually “beating” our opponents in just about every metric except the one that counts… and it isn’t Angie who’s doing the shooting…

The Goonie game, more possession, more shots, more passes, and arguably a red for Timber (yellow for the tackle and a yellow for squaring up to Vicario, who got a yellow?!?)… and two very good saves by Raya in the first 15 minutes… could have very easily been a different result…

Still losing, but not like the same way we’re losing under the Maureen/Conte years, when we would lose and sit at home thinking we deserved to lose that…

Oddbert needs a run in the team in place of Johnson (having a mare start to the season!), and Solenko needs to get his first goal, get that monkey off his back… and Maddison needs a kick up the Arseanl too…

Yeah this does appear to be a witch-hunt. Not sure why. Everton???? 4 straight defeats. And before the inter break, hell broke loose with the media on Ten-Hag.

Obviously you try and be pacesetters, but that will work only if you’re effectively Manchester City.

I’m not sure who was actually getting carried away with our first 3 wins. Nobody was from here as I recall. One defeat, and we’re now down in the dumps; a second would definitely lead to knives out.

He’s clearly frustrated and is feeling the pressure. Is someone like Emery a better and more balanced manager? Yes. But I still think he’s a good attacking coach and suits Spurs. I think results will pick up for them. However I think they’ve overspent on Solanke. I think they just let themselves down a bit in the transfer market sometimes which partly limits their success when they could be more clever because they can offer first team football to a lot of young talent who wouldn’t get much of a game at one of the top clubs.
