Here’s my take on Poch to Chelsea. It’s will never happen.

Firstly Poch is on record as saying he could never manage Barca because of his links to Espanayol and the rivalry between Chelsea and Spurs is significantly greater than the rivalry between Barca and Espanayol.

Secondly Poch still has three years of his contract to run and Levy is virtually impossible to negotiate with. Remember Modric! ?

Thirdly even if Chelsea were interred in Poch and he was intrested in coming to Chelsea and I doubt both based on current circumstances negotiating Poch’s exit from Spurs eith Levy would take weeks and Chelsea don’t have weeks to make a managerial appointment with the transfer window just about to open. All yesterday’s Fish and Chip paper imo.?

Here’s the reality a) Chelsea look likely to part company with Conte b) Poch is pushing Levy for a new contract and substantial backing in the transfer market this summer.

The media put the two things together and this is what you get the spculation might help Poch get the transfer budget that he wants and a big increase out of Levy though.

So, today’s rumor mill on the interweb Spuds have reached personal agreement with Bale, signed this Immobile chap from Italy, Poncho is certainly staying another year, Toby is off to YooUtd for 40mill, Chelsea are finalizing a deal for this Nagelsmann chap, and Spuds signing Pulisic…. not bad for breakfast! 😉

Mav, you have to pay us for taking Fellaini ,would love to see a fully fit Bale back at the Lane(insert any name) . The size of the fee the fact he’s 29 in July and injuries aside isn’t Bale on silly money at Real?

Goldie… nobody really knows for sure, but by all accounts from my “man in the know” is simply Bale wants to go to Spuds (don’t ask me why), the fee is not as big as the red-tops think (around the 40 mark!?!?!), and includes “first refusal” (like they didn’t have that anyway!) on Harry and Co….

All to be announced next week after the CL and before the World Cup…. I guess we’ll wait and see!

No idea about the salary… maybe it’s a refreshing case of a footballer who’s putting glory before cash… and let’s face it, win the League with the Spuds would bring a lot more glory than winning it with your more “traditional” big-clubs, wouldn’t it?

Chucky, yeah I can see Bale fancying to end his career at Spurs in the new Stadium but even if £40m is true at 29 with his injury record and wages it’s still a risk and Daniel has always been risk adverse. As good as Bale is personally I wouldn’t want him at Chelsea because of the above but time will tell.

Goldie… reckon this summer is a little bit different from “traditional” summers as we’re moving into a billion squid stadium and Danny-boys rules are relaxed a little for a “superstar” signing if you know what I mean…

Got to be honest, Kane up top with Bale, Ali and our Wee Mad Viking fella does sound good… very much the “aiming for glory” nonsense us Spuds love… 🙂

Might even make Toby/Moose think twice… extra bonus points there methinks!!
