Is that the way you want to play it, Big J? Pity we can’t all get sugar-daddy’s and cheap ass stadiums… then nobody would be having this problem needing to try and compete? Expected more from you, cyber chum!

15th August 2018 at 4:40 pm #25301Chucky silly me i am sorry, Yep clearly this is all City’s fault and the fact that we won the lottery! Lol Throwing your rattle out off the pram and showing your true coulours so early on in discussion about a stadium. Really! Get a grip fella you sound pathetic.

15th August 2018 at 4:43 pm #25302Totally Agree with jim. 3 away games doesnβt suit city at all and itβs unfair on them when they have not caused the issue.
Liverpool played one game away and that was burnley. We did play our 1st 3 away but this was the only fixture which was changed.
Donβt think jim has said anything out of line either.

15th August 2018 at 4:49 pm #25304Allegedly the Premier League wont sanction moving the game to the Etihad. Simplest solution is to award the points to City if Spurs can’t provide a ground to play the fixture on. π

16th August 2018 at 9:00 am #25316I’m sure this problem will get sorted out probably by rearranging the game to a midweek fixture at Wembley in the week following the original date.
Understandably perhaps the PL don’t want to reverse the fixture as it would leave City playing 4 of their last 5 games away from home which might effect the outcome of the title race.

16th August 2018 at 10:20 am #25318AnonymousThis is a total fuck up which needs sorting ASAP . Spurs supporters were told not too long ago it would be ready for the Liverpool game in September, now it seems it may be October ???
People who are working on the site are looking at a completion date closer to Christmas. If that is true Mr Levy you need to act quickly as the supporters, myself included, who have paid out for season tickets need some answers and also an apology._____________________________

16th August 2018 at 11:33 am #25323Anonymousbricky – this is a fuck up of monumental proportions. levy is the highest paid chairman in the league and he has fucked this up big time. no signings and no stadium. not a great start to the season in which we needed to push on more than ever, if they have any ambition of winning things, not just taking part.

16th August 2018 at 12:29 pm #25325Fellas on the plus side you will have probably the best Stadium in the league when it opens. And across town Roman pulled the plug on Chelseas new stadium so things could be worse!

16th August 2018 at 1:28 pm #25328Poch suggests the City game could be played on the Monday at Wembley following the NFL game?

16th August 2018 at 2:22 pm #25332Haha that’s nice and easy for the away fans. Wonder if Levy will pay expenses for those that had already booked train and digs etc? Of course not, as it’s clearly City’ fault having loads of money according to some. Lol. As always it’s the fans that suffer when fixtures are rearranged.

16th August 2018 at 2:34 pm #25334Jim, fact is though mate the fixture has to be rescheduled only Wembley is available to stage it and the game can’t be played on the scheduled Sunday because of a scheduled NFL game at Wembley.
If not the Monday then it would have to be rescheduled as a midweek game at a period of time where there are a number of CL Group games.
As you can see from the posts above the Spurs fans aren’t happy about it either but a sensible compromise for rescheduling the game has to be worked out somehow.
Whenever it is rescheduled I don’t think it is unreasonable for Spurs to compensate any City fans who may have booked travel and hotels for the original game on the Sunday in the new Spurs Stadium.

16th August 2018 at 3:28 pm #25340Anonymousjim – i’m pretty spurs as a football club are suffering quite badly with this at the moment. and the spurs fans are suffering far more than the city fans with this situation. the club are also suffering hugely financially. instead of having 60,000 crowds in their own stadium and bring in money through that they are paying another organisation to play at their ground and even then they cant guarantee it. dont get me wrong, spurs are completely to blame for it, but city fans arent the only ones being affected by this.
