Try not to be too down Nil. I would say Liverpool still have the best starting xi in the league. All the other teams spending all this money and bringing back legends and they’re still not as good.

What a few days. Utd fans would have been absolutely gutted he was going to city and for it turn out like this makes it sweeter.

I don’t think anyone is writing Liverpool’s chances of winning the title off Sean and it would be foolish for anyone to do so one to eleven Liverpool are still a very strong team and they remain one the favourites for the PL title.

The PL is potentially at it’s highest quality ever. It remains to be seen of course but it looks like Utd and Chelsea are going to be SERIOUSLY good this season and I have banged on about how we’ll see a resurgent Liverpool this term also. City will be City, no Kane of course but Grealish is an incredible player.
That’s an incredible top 4 and then there is still Spurs, who still have Kane and Son, with a better manager who might actually make something of them. I still see them as 5th but a strong 5th, with the potential to surprise.
Cant wait for todays match.

Most people Iβve spoken to think Liverpool will finish 4th nine. Chelsea are being spoken about being challengers more then Liverpool which is no surprise
I was watching sky the other morning and the topic was Liverpool going under the radar. We have +5m spend. We are not signing anyone and all the focus is on the teams spending money which suits us down to the ground

Yeah Liverpool are still 3rd favourites for the title behind Chelsea and City. Anyone of the 4 could realistically win it and I don’t think many will write off any of those 4 sides. I think any if those sides finish 3rd or 4th and they’ll consider it a failure but someone has to.

Sean, in the last three seasons Liverpool almost won the PL title but won the CL,and then won the PL, last season was a blip it’s virtually the same team that won the title and Liverpool have added more quality with the likes of Jota and Thiago.
All this going under the radar is nonsense do you think the Liverpool title threat has gone under the radar of Pep, Ole or Tuchel cos I don’t and the Sky pundits and commentators change their views on a daily basis like the weather.
With regards spend yes Liverpool may have only spent + Β£5m but Chelsea have only spent +Β£9m.π
Whilst I would agree the Liverpool squad doesn’t go quite as deep as the other top teams their team one to eleven is a match for all and if they can avoid too many injuries there’s every chance of a genuine title challenge from Liverpool.

Iβm not talking about managers nine. Look at most pundits/mediaβs predictions and conversations. They are thinking they way as we havenβt add anyone expect konate and because of last season which was freakish.

Ronaldo is a proven goal grabber and I understand United willing to pay him so much, Cavani is also old but more jury prone while the likes of Rashford, Martial and possibly Greenwood are TBH overrated.

Only the competing Managers underestimating Liverpool would count imo Sean and they definitely aren’t and as I said the pundits and rest of the media change their views more than the weather changes.
All 4 Clubs are in with a shout of the title if City can manage again this season without a striker I still think they’re favourites but they are taking a risk in doing so again imo but they’ve still got until 11pm on the 31/08 to put that right so you never know.π
Could be a great season with 4 teams challenging for the title let’s hope that’s what happens anyway. Cheers 9’s

I think the Manchester clubs will fight it out. United besides Ronaldo have made other top signings and came 2nd last season, Liverpool and Chelsea will probably fight it out for 3rd and 4th, though I wouldn’t dismiss Spurs chances, that manager knows what his doing.
