It’s the hunger, drive & athleticism still in Ronaldo that is worth having, and any goals will obviously be a bonus. It’s why Ronaldo is a very robust player and why he has succeeded everywhere he’s been.

Cheers Lucky. Yeah some transfers should just never happen. Never got used to seeing Owen in a Utd shirt, Fabregas to Chelsea was a tough one for Arsenal fans. Even RVP, whilst I enjoyed him at Utd, it always felt like he was Arsenal’s player that we’d borrowed for a bit.

Adlab, it’s beyond cheeky to talk about Utd and FFP, when City got away with blue murder all due to the thinnest of technicalities.
I’m not exactly delighted to see Utd making all these incredible signings but it’s good for the PL. How can they afford it? They have debt but also one of the biggest non-sporting revenues, if not the biggest in the game.
Congrats though to Ed and any other scum sucking Utd fans on here 😛 Ronaldo must be like a bit of a dream to ye right now. Well wake up, it’s real.

Adlab. all’s fair in love and war buddie personally I’d rather see Ronaldo playing for United than City firstly he’s a United legend and United is probably the best Club for him to see out the final part his career.
Also I think it also opens up the PL title race a tad Ronaldo scoring 20/30 PL goals at City would have made it difficult for the chasing pack to catch them it will be a more competitive PL without Ronaldo at City albeit it makes United a bit more dangerous too.

Fair enough but you can’t go to any top Club with a strong squad and expect to get a guaranteed starting place.
Personally I think Niguez would have been a good addition to the squad this season and like Kovacic if he did well as Kovacic did he would have earned himself a long term contract.
