Sean…if we sit back we will definately loose. Control the game, well for most of it, but we have the players to do the job, they have to have the right tactical plan and get on with it. As a non European football fan, and Chelsea supporter, i’m leaning towards Germany because of the Chelsea connections. 3 Chelsea lads are in Germany, whereas England has zero on the starting line up and only two on the bench. therefore i follow the Chelsea lads since i’m a neutral. come on Germany #forca Deutschland. England 1-2 Germany. that is my predicted scoreline.

Disappointed with team selection. Far too defensive.
WHO in the midfield is going to create anything?
No Grealish, Mount or Foden.
Also, yes Saka had a great game last match but to select him for this……I so hope I am wrong.
Rice, Phillips, Shaw and Trippier? If Sterling doesnt create who will?

Werner is a scary prospect though, not just because of the space his runs will inevitably create for havertz and muller, but he has also been the butt if English footie fans jokes all year and it would be no surprise to see him score tonight. (Wouldn’t be a surprise to see him miss a sitter either though 🙂 )

Can’t believe the selection. Can understand the formation though, but in that formation you have to pick Chilwell over Shaw. Shaw offers f all going forward and we are already far too defensive with the two holding mids. I’d take off Rice and play Henderson who can ping balls forward. I’d also take off Kane for Foden and play him as a false nine. We need more runners off the ball and at the moment Kane is hopeless

Agree with Adlab; after a reasonably solid first half England are struggling to link the defensive 8 players with the front 3, I’d be tempted to sacrifice one of Rice or Philips in the second half for creative midfielder – any 1 of Grealish, Mount or Foden for me. Maybe give it 10 minutes of second half first then make the change.
