16th August 2019 at 10:47 am #45466Nil, all done and dusted now as far as I’m concerned but you do need to change how you behave on here going forwards.
As threeps pointed out it put him off posting and it won’t encourage new posters to join the site if that’s what they come across.
As 442 says “this is a really nice forum with good banter and thoughts” and I would much rather see you enjoying it than you trying to defend yourself again. Cheers 9’s

16th August 2019 at 10:52 am #45467threeps, just as an aside I hope you continue to regularly post on here I really enjoy reading your posts and there’s a good bunch of lads supporting Liverpool on here now.
Even if there are too many of you.? Cheers 9’s

16th August 2019 at 11:53 am #45477AnonymousNil, you’ve been going down this “isnt it miserable to be a liverpool supporter” thing now for the past few months. Talking about how tough its been to not win things. What does this sound like to others when we just won the Champions League?
I think here we have a good example of your mental state ruining your enjoyment of the game. You need to see that you’re not in a good place and need to cut back on the drink and add something to your life that gets sone endorphins flowing. Exercise is a great one but a hobby woukd help also.
Definitely talk to a professional though, or I can see you getting banned and losing this outlet.

16th August 2019 at 11:56 am #45478AnonymousPagan, really no need to apologize. I still feel something is kinda lost in translation but we can just let it go, as its not important really.

16th August 2019 at 12:13 pm #45482best pool team I have seen mak, any fan who would be angry or upset when their club is killing it on and off the field needs to question why they even watch the game.

16th August 2019 at 12:23 pm #45483We didn’t play to our optimum levels bar an early spell early doors.
There was a slight resemblance to the man city game.
Champions League is gone now.
Successful teams under Alex Ferguson were raised on that mentality.
“Forget what you’ve just won, now go on to win more”.

16th August 2019 at 12:35 pm #45484Nil, no team can play at their best every game, and besides the high standards you are demanding from klopp and your team were set by klopp and your team. Please try to enjoy it while it is so good for you mate.

16th August 2019 at 12:46 pm #45485maybe try holding yourself to certain standards that you demand of the team and manager you support?
i think what makes it worse for you is the fact as others have said this is the best pool team for decades, superb manager, winninig MAJOR trophies and losing out on others by ONE point……
good job you dont support Newcastle you would have spontaneously combusted by now! 😉

16th August 2019 at 12:54 pm #45488More to the point, is there a fan in the country who wouldn’t happily swap places with Liverpool last season? Arguably some City fans but literally everyone else would have done anything for their team to do what Liverpool did last season!

16th August 2019 at 1:18 pm #45489AnonymousNil, you were down the dumps about liverpool durong the summer, when our actual last match was lifting the CL trophy. You had no football based reason to not feel down about the team.
As for the CL, if you really think its gone and we need to forget about it then I think you need to step away from from the game entirely until you sort yourself out. Youre in a cycle where you want to cut out the good and just absorb the bad.
As for any manager saying its gone, thats to keep his PLAYERS focused. It definitely isnt advice for the fans.
We have started this season as the current, defending champions of Europe. No self-destructive arc changes that.

16th August 2019 at 1:32 pm #45490Nil, seriously mate when you’re in a hole stop digging just admit you got it badly wrong, acknowledge that you regularly get it badly wrong and it’s something you need to address and confirm that you’re commited to trying really hard to change it.
No one not even the Liverpool posters on here buy in to your poor Liverpool rhetotic.
Do the above and everyone will move on.

16th August 2019 at 2:37 pm #45498Ed, it’s a fantastic time to be a Liverpool fan. People really forget what it was like years ago.
My biggest concern is klopp will leave in 2022. He just fits the club perfectly.anfield now has that atmosphere people used to talk about years ago.
We will attack any team. The front 3 are so exciting to watch. We have genuine top top class players now.
Klopp improves players. We are in a great place on and off the pitch. I love watching us play.
Enjoy the good times now. I’m much more relaxed this season as the huge pressure of klopp having to win a trophy is gone.
People will talk about needing to win the league but this city team is so good. I’ve never seen a team win the ball back as quickly as city. They just dominate the ball. I really can see them going past 90 points again.
City can be got at but you to get the ball first.
Really exciting season ahead for all the teams. Great to have the ball back

16th August 2019 at 2:42 pm #45499AnonymousNine, exactly. I mean, the majority of teams dont win anything, for decades. As a fan, Ive seen my team down without a hope of challenging for anything but also some great years where we’ve done amazingly well. This is one of those years and as Lucky said, this is the best liverpool team in decades.
Im trying to be diplomatic here but its hard when someone is being their old manipulative self.

16th August 2019 at 2:54 pm #45501Sean, completely agree. I have a feeling Stevie G will be the one to come in and replace him when the time does come, assuming he does a decent job at Rangers

16th August 2019 at 3:04 pm #45507Mak, nil made me giggle with the champs league has gone comment. Chelsea have one and I cherish it and the lovely gold star that is on our badge in champs league games. Nil if you think those succeses are gone count the gold stars next time pool play CL, you’ll find they havent gone anywhere.

16th August 2019 at 3:07 pm #45509Both Liverpool and City are at the peak of their prowess at the minute, and I would also add Spurs to some extent. both Arsenal and United are building some interesting squad. on the other hand, Chelsea is taking a different approach, for the time we are having one of our own as a manager, we are also having many youth players who are made at Chelsea going straight to our starting line up, something that we have all yearned for other the years. and while this project is exciting, there will always be challenges, ups, and downs. patience will be tested on the process, even the strongest faithful fans will be tested. but once we are through with that, I’m certain we will have the last laugh.
But until that, I pray that God gives us the strength and patience to see the light of this project. and many of us, especially the younger generation myself included will have a very time in adjusting into this period I’m sure. but what we stand to gain is much more important.
