Nine, you game me that impression from you’re own thoughts so far on the subject.
I only ultimately go by comments you write. Consider your exclamation and your posts re Halland.

30th April 2021 at 10:11 pm #178411Not really good if one club scoops trophies on this forum as Same, day-month-year.
Liverpool have been wiped off effectively discussion of caring.

30th April 2021 at 11:58 pm #178415Nil, sorry mate but you’ve completely lost me now.
As I said all of my posts from the moment this broke confirm that I have been against a breakaway ESL from now to then and going forwards too so for you to post “Sounds like you want it” and “Forget the rest of us” was completely unjustified and erroneous, and all my posts on the subject confirm that.
But just to reconfirm again I don’t want to see a breakaway ESL and I don’t want to see anyone left behind least of all Liverpool and that would be highly unlikely anyway because reportedly John Henry was one of the main drivers for the ESL alongside Joel Glazer and Stan Kroenke and secondly as I said previously I don’t think that we will see another breakaway attempt.
To justify what you said above based on my Haaland post which to confirm was:
“More importantly how will we all cope if City sign either Haaland or Kane!π ”
Was even more confusing, firstly my Haaland post had nothing to do with the ESL and secondly City have just won the League Cup are about to win the PL with games to spare and the other night in the second half v PSG looked a class above any other team in Europe and they’ve played pretty much all season without a striker so if City were to sign either one of the two best strikers in Europe in Haaland or Kane that would make them an even better team and “how will we all cope?”
“Not really good if one club scoops trophies on this forum as Same, day-month-year.

Absolutely nothing 9s has said would give the impression you have decided upon
And Back to the silliness because Liverpool arenβt dominant like the last 2 seasons
Honestly mate sometimes….ππ_____________________________

1st May 2021 at 11:37 am #178423Nil….try and understand Nines post. Nine and I will disagree where the game will eventually go but we understand each view I have difficulty to understand where you are
coming from apart from being downhearted about Liverpool. This is football Nil, how do you think the city lads were feeling when Lincoln,Port vale came trotting out at maine R…that is disappointment….but that is reality…..no team will dominate football in the future , not even City!!! Nine….City will not sign Kane and Haarland is questionable Mpabbe..maybe but doubt he will want Manchester as his homeCheer up, no reason why you cannot feel optimistic about Liverpool

1st May 2021 at 11:48 am #178424Nine, no worries mate.
it was a bit of an over reaction and sensitivity from me. My bad and apologies. I misunderstood – had one eye on the Snooker last night (with Selby trying to make a comeback!). Struggling to deal with the way Liverpool have been this half of the campaign and what the future holds for them.
I’m longing for the right balance where teams can compete for multiple honours and the right attitude and hunger is there in the first place from certain clubs.
Cheers

1st May 2021 at 1:13 pm #178427Nil, we can all grab the wrong end of the stick at times and you’ve apologised so all forgotten buddie.
On Liverpool, football is a game of highs and lows and we all have to cope with that mate, worth taking note of Brian’s wise words he’s experienced the highest of highs and the lowest of lows whilst supporting City. Cheers 9’s

1st May 2021 at 1:57 pm #178429It’s alright for you cyber monkeys to talk about the highs and the lows, what about numpties who have only ever experienced the mediums? Kinda glad Money City managed to thrash us 1-0 despite their billions, as I wouldn’t know what to do if we won… π
Thankfully, us Spuds could sit back and say the ref screwed us, bit like that peno in the Champions League final a couple of years back… π π

1st May 2021 at 2:37 pm #178434Nil. re a leveling out so everyone has a chance…that happens at kick off on game 1. Every team starts with a squad, say 20/25 players. City do not have the best 25 players, Hundreds of players out there that can make a squad and even if you did pick the top 25, which is unlikely…it guarantees nothing. It then depends on how well they blend together and how well they support the Managers tactics, so, to me, next season will start with a clean slate all over again. Of course injuries, suspensions and fixture pile ups and loss of confidence are accountable in this, but that also applies to all teams. How well that is managed is important….I do not sleep about any of it
Take care and step back from its importance to your health_____________________________

1st May 2021 at 2:43 pm #178436Chuky…would Spurs know what to do with the money if they had it. My guess is they would have built a 10 star Hotel next to the ground!!!! How good would that be for you, just walk across a corridor into the ground.
PS…It is a beautiful ground though

1st May 2021 at 5:33 pm #178441BB… we know how to buy three-legged donkeys, we’ve bought enough of ’em over the years.
As for the stadium, its epic, cyber chum, managed to get accidentally lost on purpose during my last trip to London (pre-COVID!) and got to drive past in at 2 o’clock in the morning with all the lights on… a shining diamond in a sea on shit mate, and soo much larger then it looks. Can’t frigging wait to get inside it!

1st May 2021 at 7:09 pm #178445It is impressive from all angles, you just need a team to go with it but I suspect you hve spent the money on the bricks and motor, however, Harry Kane should bring you a bob or two…..not to us thank you
