Yes I think getting people to the site will prove the biggest challenge. It started off as a bit of a hobby project but I need to give it a go. I just need to think of how to get new posters on board. It’s a tricky one because, ideally, I need there to be ongoing discussions before I start trying to drive people to the site, but in order to get the discussions going, I need to drive people to the site!

What a shocking website now. It seems like the site was developed by someone who used the WordPress for dummies book.

Struggled to logon for months and just packed the whole site in. Do not bother reading it now.

Absolutely, Teamtalk is beyond a joke now. Maybe all the bloody adverts have effected it.
Ed, for all the chances Liverpool create it seems to tasks 20 before 1 goes in. We all know about the defensive car crash but I think we also need a 20+ striker. Not many teams win much without one & we will be no different.
Getting out of the group stages & a top 4 spot will be a good season for us. Haha I’m sounding like I support Arsenal. If only we were as consistent as them over the years.

FFS is every footy forum going to shite, just tried putting in a couple of comments & couldn’t, wanted email address & do a sum to progress & prove I wasn’t a bloody robot even though I was logged in. WTF is going on, I thought it was only Teamtalk with these problems.

Oz, sorry to hear you had those issues. I’ll have a look at it. I had to put some things in place to prevent spam signups as I was getting 10-20 fake signups a day. Where were you trying to post?

I certainly can’t promise there will never be issues on this site but I can assure you that I will resolve any issues that arise asap.

I think this site works fine – teamtalk I never really tried since the switch over I think it was about 2 years but after all I heard unlikely to ever give it a go. I dont have time to struggle with log-ins or any other posting problems.

TT seems to be dying a slow death. It’s going through periods now where nobody can log in. If they don’t start picking up the pieces soon, the exodus will continue and that will be that.

I had experienced those problems a few weeks back Oz Yob when I wanted to start a topic on Sky’s new package of sports; wrote a fair bit and lost it as I couldn’t revisit the page even after pressing the back button.

Much credit to Ed, I’d rather those measures were in place to avoid really late night fake sign ups and arguments/flare ups between posters which was happening on the other named website.

Me personally have quite an admiration already for this particular site, though in general, I don’t want to form a long term habit of being too involved in what’s been written and discussed as I think time away gives you a better perspective of everything.

Hopefully there will be no more of those issues with logging in now. It’s a real balancing act to keep out the bots/spammers and prevent real users being locked out. I think the issue is resolved now though.

Same here, I tried getting back on a couple of times. But was unable to even with a new registration, so just gave up.

I try regularly but only once in about 12 months I succeeded in getting in, have given up now.
