16th November 2019 at 9:58 pm #53052AnonymousIt’s a matter of opinion I guess. There are a few superstars at Liverpool who steal all the headlines and hype. I just tried to draw up a list of Liverpools most important players, in order but it was too tough. Maybe we should add a 7 man bench for the team of the year and in that case, I’d be expecting Fabinho to make that, without TOO many complaints by a reasonable number on here anyway. I say reasonable, not everyone.
If I were you though, I’d watch out for Fabinho this season. All us Liverpool fans watch him along with everyone else this week. Fabinho has been the MOTM for us a few times (in mine and many others opinions). Sky recently gave Mane the MOTM award, in a perfect example of what I spoke about above regards the stars grabbing the plaudits. I think it was the Spurs game and Fabinho ran the show, like a puppeteer.
Im sure you could counter me with Jorginho, who is finding freedom to express his abilities better now that Sarri has gone.

17th November 2019 at 12:10 am #53044AnonymousNB, Lundstram is in so many people’s FPL teams, largely because he’s a quality midfielder who is somehow cast as a cheap defender. He got 21 points for my bench there a few weeks ago! .. GRRR . it’s not that i don’t rate him, he’;s my number 1 sub and I will definitely use him in the future but I’m not dropping anyone of these for him : https://prnt.sc/pxwbxm
Van Dijk has been OUTSTANDING so far this season BTW … I felt left out of the madness, sRy 😛

17th November 2019 at 8:34 am #53058Never been a fan of Jorginho or Fabino, my cental midfield role model is someone who runs all over the show breaks up opposition play and starts attacks quickly like a Kante not all this backward and sideways passing which is so frustrating to watch.

17th November 2019 at 9:37 am #53060Disagree blaze. Fabhino is our most creative midfielder. He plays on the front door with forward passing. Not sure if you have seen much of him this season mate
Jorginho has a bit more steel to him these days. He gets stuck in and is very good at playing a ball over the full backs. His pass for Tammy at watford was sublime But you would know more about Jorginho then me mate
I loved watching Alonso when at Liverpool. Glenn Hoddle was just sublime to watch when I was growing up. Loved midfielders like that

17th November 2019 at 12:00 pm #53068Mak, I try to include Trent, but he’s expensive – he’s not really earned me any assists in the way I hoped haha 😛

17th November 2019 at 6:40 pm #53080AnonymousNil, I think teams are well sure that in order to stop Liverpool from destroying them, they have to keep our fullbacks out of the game. Teams can’t do this and sit back at the same time, hence why we are almost never caught out by a double decker bus anymore. Those lads will rain in pinpoint accurate crosses until the defence makes a mistake. Trent anyway, Robertson is trickier and he’ll pull the ball back for someone.
They are getting a few assists in but what’s happening is teams are scoring 1 against us so often that you’re never seeing the cleansheet bonuses that we used to get last term. It’s only a matter of time for me, so Im keeping both lads.
I’ve picked Ings here cause I ran out of money but he’s still a decent option for a goal here or there. His next 4-5 fixtures have goals in them if he’s lucky.
