unless ive read that wrong does that mean they propose unlimited under 21s on loan and 8 over 21s on loan? dont seem much different from now, may handicap chelsea but other teams should be ok!
they should have a max of 2-4 over 21s….over 21s shouldnt be considered youth anymore so either the club wants them or not_____________________________

14th January 2020 at 10:07 am #60519To be honest puppy, I’d scrap the whole bloody system. If they’re good enough they in the 1st team, if they’re not good enough they can sit in the reserves, and if they’re that desperate to get 1st team football they find another “lesser” team.
The loan system, as it is, is simply used by the big clubs to hover up talent and keep them on the books (and therefore keep their advantage). I think it would be better for the overall game if they scrapped it, it would allow a lot more teams to compete.

14th January 2020 at 1:56 pm #60531Don’t agree with that at all Chucky where would Kane have been without his loan moves and Tammy, Mount, James, Tomori etc shows the value of loan moves for developing young players these are all players who have been developed at the Club from aged 7/8 which is exactly what the new proposed FIFA rules recognise.
What is wrong is big Clubs being able to sign players like Kovacic, lo Celso and Gelderson on loan.

14th January 2020 at 2:02 pm #60533My boys are just as guilty. Kane or not, clubs have reserve teams for a reason. The whole “loan” system has morphed from what it was originally designed to do into a system that basically keeps the “big” clubs big, and the little clubs down “where they belong”.
With most clubs having 30/40/50 players on their books anyway, nobody really needs to “burrow” players, and the increase in all this “loaning” of over 21 year olds like those you mention above is simply a way for clubs to “tweek” the utterly pointless FFP rules… nothing more, nothing less.

Not sure how you do things, but if Iβm going to make a big cash outlay and thereβs a chance to try before you buy then I take that option…..Pagan

14th January 2020 at 4:14 pm #60556Pagan, major Clubs imo shouldn’t be able to bring in significant loan players and should back their own judgement you don’t get to drive a new car for 18 months before you have to buy it only in football.
Loan players will ultimately be managed by the new rules and they seem very sensible to me.
