Fingers crossed Sean, i wouldn’t be surprised if he was gone by Xmas!! I think it depends on how many new faces he can bring in as those he has can’t be trusted. He really needs to change the attitude of the players. Be interesting to see if he can bring a wide player in or not.

I’d quite like Mount on the right, as he can cross, but Amad did well at the end of the season. Garnacho and Rashford will squabble over the left wing position but both are overrated imo.

Very strange summer altogether !
Little transfers to excited about

Many teams with awful preseasons

Everton still not bought out and in massive debt and still buying players

Chelsea mskimg fsp buying their own shit and shanking the academy to fund buying other less good players
They seem to get 2 new players every few days , never heard of half of them mind

Manu looking like the wind of change was blowing but somewhat died out and still way to much deadwood kicking around

Also heard they got £40m for covid all other teams got £1m max? And £30m odd due to takeover and with out that they would have breached fsp, plenty clubs aren’t going to like that! Be interesting to see what if anything comes of that

Liverpool an unknown but quietly going about things as always

Nancy spuds being all spudsy and levy not supporting yet another manager.. got to me annoying?!

My lot not much change but I like what business has been done need a bit more tho and would like to be a bit quicker but wouldn’t we all

Not that upset, Buffers, still 23 days to go and still expect one of Tooney/Solenko/David to show up, along with one of Neto/Eze (not that I’d be upset with neither), maybe a young RB and possibly (50/50) a deal with Villa for some sort of swap with Ramsy and Lo Cecil (although I would rather take Watkins to be honest).

I think it was more about getting rid of players first this year, we nearly had about half as many as the Jammy Todgers… 🙂

Mildy optimistic about the season, not catching your mob or the 115, but I reckon 3rd and a couple of semi’s in the Cups isn’t impossible by a long shot.

So, YooUtd pulling pants down again? They still thinking the government is going to pay for their new stadium too? Cheeky buggers!!!

Just for the record, Everton claimed £82m of covid allowances over three years. £1m is a made up number, probably based on the average for one particular year, but is clearly not a maximum. All teams claimed more.

Working my way through “Tales of Ketty Jay” series while I work on my “Undercover Chef Chronicles”, featuring Chef Gaston Spanker-Jones… must be something about the mighty Spuds which is giving me the inspiration for that one…

Speaking of which, what can I say? Right now, I think Pool are going to have a “bad” one, VVD and Salah (if he stays) don’t quite look like the players they used to be, combined with a new manager who isn’t Kloop, think they’re going to struggle for Top4…

Villa… did they “win” 4th or did Spuds (losing 5 of the last 7), lose 4th? They seem to be operating under a 1-in-1-out policy… expect to finish above them for sure…

YooUtd… ETH stays… says it all really and the new signings aren’t scaring me… shitty injuries last year, for sure, and a slight improvement but not enough to finish above us…

Jammy Dodgers… all over the place… we finish below them I’ll change my name to Nil

Newcastle… bit of a dark horse, but I think the squad right now will struggle with all the games, a couple of injuries and their season could really go tits up (hopefully).

You get the feeling they’d be better off complimenting the squad in one or two areas rather than buying loads of players. They desperately need a striker (as do Arsenal) but rather than spend big on one they have brought umpteen squad players for the future.

They may well need to sell more academy players now as they don’t have room in their squad for them to get any decent amount of game time.

As for Fernandez, only Chelsea could make him vice captain after what he did.

Yeah it’s odd Sean, and putting them on 7 year contracts. It could be they loan them out, build up their reputation and sell for profit but its harder to shift players on fst 7 year contracts. All while the actual team struggles on the pitch as they haven’t invested in quality for the now.

Speaking of Chelsea, I saw the highlights versus City from a few days ago. Ended 4-2 to City, but you should see how Chelsea struggled with the new system of playing out from the back.

Banjo, i take nothing out of pre-season only players getting fit. All teams missing so many players.

I think liverpool have a squad and id be absolutely amazed if we dont finish above spurs who cant defend for their lives. No real pressure on slot as he be given times. Its a season of transition and top 4 be a good start

I think ang might be in trouble this season. Spurs are just far to easy to play againest.solankeone good season in the pl and 65m? Maddness. 20% sell on fee for liverpool which be nice

West ham could be a bit of surprise . New managet is a good coach and some decent signings also palace if they can gold onto one or two players.

Was being very genric waspy… kinda thinking about last years “squads” with most having hardly any improvements to them… still a long way to go and won’t be making a “proper” prediction until the trasnfer window closes… 🙂

Still think VVD’s legs aren’t what they used to be and Salah’s “heart” isn’t really in it anymore…

Won’t be too many points between us and happy to put some Monster Munch on it!

I think it’s more you buy the odd player but never several to take that next step just tread water
And omits a strange one for me for levy at that price only one good season but could fit ange style really well
You need a solid 4/5 upgrade 1st teamers to kick on not one here and there every year
