Like all paper talk Steveo, we never really know but makes a change from all the rubbish about how City don’t pay over the odds.

By all accounts, he idolised Vidic and Rio and wanted to follow in their footsteps. He also knows he’s going to be the main man at Utd whereas he was always going to be competing with about 10 other top CBs at City ?.

cant see him going to Rm think he will go to Barca but RM may still get Pogba and the same situation of FFP must come in?

saying all that i cant for the life of me think why either would want him, he is not as good as he or others think, he is not in the bracket of messi or ronaldo or even Suarez…decent on his day, to much baggage and injuries…..hope one or both bankrupt themselves getting him!

I agree Steve but both are badly in need of a new poster boy and he fits the bill in that respect perfectly. He’s just in the right age bracket still and is a commercial money magnet, hence why Real seem to be in for either Neymar or Pogba. Two entirely different players on the pitch, but similarly useful off it.

I agree Stevo if Neymar goes it’s more likely to be to Barca. I can’t see Pogba going to Real now it would leave United short of a player they didn’t want to sell when they could replace him and I can’t see United selling him when they can’t replace him plus Real would need to do a player exchange deal and obviously that can’t be done now.
