Best news item I’ve seen on Maguire was the inevitable yoursay piece on the BBC website about his transfer. Highest rated comment simply stated. Leicester should negotiate Brexit! That made me laugh out loud.

Expect many more pointless articles on Maguire from the BBC over the next week. You heard it here first.

Jim, come on mate. We’ve all had about 2 seasons of constant articles on the BBC about how fabulous Pep is and how this is the greatest side to have ever graced the planet.

It’s got nothing to do with him signing for Utd. It’s because it’s an England player becoming the record signing. There were tons of positive articles about Sterling too recently. Sometimes I really don’t get you City lads. You’re going through your greatest ever era, enjoying press adulation like nobody has ever seen before, setting records every season, watching beautiful football and you all sound like the most depressed bunch of fans going and can’t help but moan about Liverpool and Utd every week ?. Enjoy this time Jim. It won’t be around for ever. Take care

I am enjoying it immensely. And we deserve the articles on the BBC. But they are obsessed with you guys it’s common knowledge with neutrals. Solskar was getting loads of articles written about him after he won a few games on the trot. Really?? Pointless stuff. Also common knowledge that the media had it in for sterling big time for ages. I specifically said so on this forum and Im pretty sure you and others on here said it was bollox and came out with the same lines as above. Then a few in the media realised the continual pathetic witch hunt possibly racist agaisnt him and now it’s a bloody love in. The sports media are pathetic in my eyes. Click bait shite. The BBC post lots of City stuff as well as the positive stuff you just don’t notice it. Anyway Leicester have well and truly had your trousers down and agree that it’s very funny that Ake is now worth £75m. For context Laporte was £57m !

Well Leicester have form for it getting 60 odd million from City for a backup winger! Not sure what point you’re making about Laporte? I could do the same by saying Rashford = £0, Mahrez = £60mil. All a bit pointless though.

Jim, but the City fans seem to not talk about anything else. If it’s not that the refs are against them, it’s that VAR is against them. If it’s not that David Gill is sorting easy cup draws for Utd, it’s that Sterling gets u fairly treated by the press. If it’s not that the Derby ref is a Utd fan, it’s that the refs don’t want City to win anything so are all against them. It’s all a load of rubbish, I’m sorry. You might well be enjoying this success but you guys are terrible at showing it. I genuinely don’t begrudge City fans this success one bit. There’s nowhere near the rivalry we have with Liverpool so much rather you lot win stuff but the City fans aren’t half a moaning bunch!

Jim, I think Laporte is a fabulous Centre Back but to be fair City paid £57m 18 months ago and prices have escalated since then. Also there’s always a bit of a premium for an English player.

As for United having their trousers pulled down from what I’ve read on the United site most United fans appear to agree with that including those on here.

There’s the difference between us though Jim. I’m not trying to win anything. It’s a silly debate about football meant in good spirits. I can only apologise if you’ve failed to see it that way. I enjoy our debates and would love to see you back posting regularly.
