correct Sir. There are 2 versions for example of the LFC Home shirts. I just recently bought the new one at £65, but there’s another version around 85 to 90 pounds which has ‘technology’ making the fabric more breathable and tailored to weather conditions etc.

28th July 2019 at 1:06 pm #44057Mav/Nine:
Some of those players though mate come with baggage such as wage demands. Plus, what are the real motives for somebody to want to come? So initially for example might not be too bothered about warming the bench, but then further down the line, they realise they want more out of their ‘playing career’ and then push for a move.
Some use other clubs as a stepping stone for their ‘dream move’.
Understandably, clubs affected by all this want to hold on to their best players and that’s why they slap on these inflated valuations to try and fend those that are sniffing around. For instance, why would Rodgers and Leicester be selling Maguire, if their aspiration for next season is to finish in the Top 6 or claim a place in the Europa League?
One of the alternative options is to go down the route of either buying from the newly promoted teams or from a Championship Club, and of course, that comes with risk. Though it can pay off ala the example of Andrew Robertson and really, compared to today’s market, he didn’t cost an arm and a leg.
It’s finding that ‘BEST FIT’ that’s going to mould nicely into the set up and address any voids previously left.

28th July 2019 at 3:06 pm #44059Speculation about a Chelsea deal for Zaha effective next Summer?
If there’s any truth in it that might suit all parties.

28th July 2019 at 3:22 pm #44062Nil-With the 2 Spanish team its almost inevaitable that some players will be keen to move on,like Hazard,Suarez,Modric,Bale, and now it seems Pogba too.But some may stay for the long haul, like Kompany,D.Silva,Aguero,etc.And you never know, players like Salah,Mane,VVD,might decide to stay for the entirety of their careers. But mate, there are loads of selling clubs out there, and loads of players available.

28th July 2019 at 3:48 pm #44065Problem is Mav at the elite level of Clubs and I include United in that list there are a limited number of players that those Clubs are interested in and most of those players are only available at premium prices and their Clubs are often reluctant to sell.

28th July 2019 at 4:36 pm #44068Although the European windows close later I don’t think we’ll see any big players like Pogba for instance moving after our window has closed without a replacement player has already been signed.
Still think that a number of big deals will go through before the windows close.

28th July 2019 at 4:48 pm #44069Mav, fair and true points mate. The reality to add too is that a player like Hazard in my eyes in special and we don’t see many like them. Even Van Dijk. There’s a scarcity in supply as far as those super names go, and as mentioned on here, only certain European Clubs will be able to buy them, albeit the odd time when they move to a Prem Club.

28th July 2019 at 7:43 pm #44075“Gareth Bale’s move to China is off after Real Madrid cancelled the deal, with the Wales winger now set to stay at the Spanish club.
Bale, 30, had been expected to join Chinese Super League club Jiangsu Suning on a three-year deal, earning a reported £1m a week.” BBC Football
The hand of Florentino Perez?
Trouble ahead given Zidane’s previous stance?
Real have had a terrible pre season.

30th July 2019 at 2:28 pm #44115“Ben Hayward reports that Bale believes Real president Florentino Perez pulled the plug on his lucrative move to China over concerns regarding Zidane.
“Bale now fears he will be made to remain at Real and frozen out as long as Zidane is in charge — but the Welshman has not given up hope of outlasting the Frenchman.
“Bale is furious at Real’s decision to torpedo his £1million-a-week transfer to Jiangsu Suning on a three-year deal and he was too upset to travel to Munich for Tuesday’s Audi Cup match against his former club Tottenham.
“The Madrid media claim Bale’s family persuaded him against the move, while Perez was reportedly unhappy at not receiving a transfer fee for the 30-year-old, who cost a world-record £86million in 2013.
“However, sources in Bale’s camp believe Perez had 11th-hour concerns about losing Bale – and backing Zidane.” Evening Standard 30/07
Interesting. Another change of Manager?
Mourinho even?
You couldn’t rule anything out at Real who make even Chelsea seem sensible at times.?

I’d be upset at missing out on £1 million per week I suppose.

30th July 2019 at 3:13 pm #44118Mourinho back to Real could scupper Pogba to Real too. I wouldn’t be surprised at all for Zidane to lose his job very soon into the new season. As much ias I don’t think Ole is our answer, I think we dodged a huge bullet in avoiding Zidane at Utd. Allegri to Real would be my bet.
